DAoC's servers will be down tomorrow from 8AM EST to about 1:30PM EST to bring us patch 1.99f:

We will be bringing all North American servers offline tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 AM EDT for the deployment of patch 1.99f. At this time we anticipate that all servers will be back online no latr than 1:30 PM EDT.

Some of the highlights from 1.99f include:

• Implemented server performance improvements to increase responsiveness in high population RvR combat.
• The formula that determines Left Axe weapon damage has been adjusted. Players will see improvements in damage at lower Left Axe specialization values, bringing them in line with other dual wielding specializations.
• There have been several changes to the Mentalist Class!
• Many expansion zones have had their base experience and coin value increased based on the general increase in monster difficulty within these zones.

The costume RvR fun in the New Frontiers has come to an end, be sure enjoy the remaining Halloween festivities before they go away next Monday!

With the passing of Halloween, the restrictive magics on the Halloween costume potions have returned. This means that costume potions may no longer be used in the Frontiers and are once again restricted to the Captial Cities and Housing Zones.

Please note: The rest of the Halloween events will continue through the week and this weekend. Events will come to an end on the morning of Tuesday, November 10th at which time the Harvest Festival will also conclude. So don't delay, be sure to take part in all of the festivities while you still can!
