Just FYI: If you are doing the Quest: Kindred of the Fallen and you are on the step that tells you to kill a "Wood Ogre Lord" to obtain the Wounding Stone, you do NOT need to locate a MOB named "Wood Ogre Lord". The Wounding stone can drop off of any Wood Ogre. Dropped for me off a Wood Ogre Berseker at location 25K, 42K roughly around the towers.

Where are they? I can only find the ones at the ogre fortress that con purple to me @ 17

These can drop a decent 2-hander called Ogre Cleaver: I've only seen the one, but I only killed about a dozen wood ogres
