I remember that when you talk to it, it casts a buff on you (holy grail icon) lasting just 1 second. In 2003 or 2004 I copied the dialogue with the visage and saved it among my DAoC notes and stuff, not sure why...:

I can confirm that this guy is a realm guard standing to your right when u enter DF from Albion. He is unkillable for to reasons:
1. Albis can't kill him, cause he is a member of there realm.
2. The two other realms can't reach the place where he stands.

Angelic visages are the realm guards inside the entrance to darkness falls, Ive heard other people say they were on midgard and hibernias entraqnces too, not sure though

I do believe that the angelic visage is a see through ghost-type guard... I think there are two at each realms entrance... They are the guys on your left and right when you zone in from Midgard.
Or atleast I believe so... will check it out over the next day or so and come back and tell ya'll

I think this thing is the Giant worm that hasnt been killed. After a raid party killed legion, the decided to go after the princes. On their way they Ran into a giant worm. After killing legion they said "what the hell" and went for it. withing the next min, they where all dead. It smawns once in a life time so not many people know its name. Im thinking this is it.
