Mythic may have modified what the bugbear gnats will drop. After killing close to 50 of them (5 bulbs XP, yellow and blue con at level 36), all that ever dropped were two types of carapaces:

- bugbear gnat carapace (1g 30s)
- fine bugbear gnat carapace (2g 60s)
