I've killed this mob dozens of times, always solo...I have yet to see any adds spawn, nor is he a hard kill. I've gotten his full loot table, with duplicates on the bow and piercers. This is with my ranger, mostly, but I've also killed him multiple times with my friar. And while he is an orange con to a 50, he's really less of a fight than the oj con drakorans in Avalon City.

There is no time rule for the spider add to pop. It can be after 20 secs or even right after the 1st hit on Cuideag.
As Arb-Animist you can solo Cuideag as long as it cons orange. Just put up you main pet in range of Cuideag but not too close. Then just nuke it down. Usually i can get out 4 nukes before Cuideag starts to ae-nuke you with shammy bolts (200-300dmg). Just switch to lifetap then to finish it cause your spec nukes may be too slow to get it out between the bolts.

He resides right by a tree at loc 28000 28000.
But be careful. He likes to jump around and sticking doesn't always cut it. And if you take longer than 10sec a lot of yellow and blue con (to a 50) spiders will pop and zerg ya.
