one of my favourite pastimes is wildling hunting
i get my char and kill asmany of them as i can in a time limit. my best is 6 in 2 miniuts

These critters drop 2 and 4AF armor for all slots. They are great to hunt to begin with because thay are easy and you can quickly fill all your armor equip slots. The armor also sells for a bunch compared to just about anything you can get at that level, so they are good hunting for money even if you no longer get EXP for them.
