Criofan's Fish

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Talk to Criofan the Fisherman (on the bridge north of Connla), and he will tell you his story of losing his pearl ring to his pet golden fish. It swam up the river, up a stream, and he thinks an Siabran Kedger named Kaen, has caught the fish. He requires you to first get him a Kedger scaling knife from an Eriu Kedger, and then get his golden fish from Kaen (you need not return to him between the tasks, just need to do the things in that order). Kaen Kedger (reported to be a day spawn only) is hidden behind a building and you will not get him from the valley floor. Go up the east hillside and work your way between the 2 buildings. Look down and you will see him standing there. Remember to kill a Kedger first, which shouldn't be difficult as they are out in plain view and a lower lvl than the Henters and others running around. Also some of them wander very fast, very far and very aggressively, so you might want to watch them for a couple of minutes if you need to get close to the camp. Everything was no worse than yellow to me and were all easy kills. Nothing added, but I was careful to avoid any that were near others. The requests are simple, and took me about 10 minutes to find the camp, and obtain the items. Once you return the things to Criofan, he is so overjoyed, he gives you Kedger's Gilded Boots. FYI: Criofan required an additional step of fetching the stomach lining of a Fearie Beetle in Lough Gur to make the boots out of. Another needed a Curmudgeon Scout (loc=45k,30k near Innis) If you can't wear leather armor and already completed this quest, you can turn your boots back in to Criofan, and he gives you Kedger's Quick Boots lvl 37 received 34 million xp, 81 silver and some copper at LVL 50, received 500,000 xp for every item turned in at LVL 50, received 105,000,000 xp, 54 CLxp, and 81 silver Reward: Kedger's Gilded Boots -- Kedger's Quick Boots -- Mentalist, Valewalker \n |
