Denise says, "A troll in Audliten who goes by the name of Aleaniver, is spreading tales of a great beast! Joining the hunt might prove your worth!"

The reward for this quest varies depending upon your class. Aleaniver, who is located in the town of Audliten in front of the building southwest of the bridge, asks you to kill the wolf Morra. He spawns up the coast near a shipwreck just past the tomte camp and is usually in a pack with several seawolf mothers (loc 41107, 37542), so you may want to bring friends. Kill him and bring back proof (dead Morra hide) to Aleaniver for your reward.

Rewards:
  Studded Hide of Morra
  Skullbone Brooch of Morra
  Paw of Morra
  Tail of Morra
  Boneclaw Ring of Morra
  Omni Hunting Gauntlets (Mid)

A little trick for Hunters on this quest
# Jan 07 2002 at 11:37 AM Rating: Default
If you are a hunter and morra is blue and the 2 mothers are green, you may be having a hard time with this quest. Here's a helpful trick, and what i did: Charm one of the sveawolf mothers so you have one less green to deal with. Send your pet on the mother (Morra and the other mother will be most likely attacking the mother by now), and you can either pluck Morra with your arrows, or if you have high spear skill, go up and melee Morra. Was helpful for me. Be careful for rock crabs and other aggros near the shore.

I'm a level 7 Hunter, Kobold.

using junky arrows *rough broadhead arrows*, I saw Morra just past the tomte camp as mentioned above, I had a sveawolf mother as a pet *green*, I sent in my pet on Morra as I was CSing her. got off 3 shots to Morra *she was blue to me* before she got to me, I ran to her killed her, and took out 2 other greenies with my pet. Work fast with your attack keys, and skills, and you can solo her too with 2 pets with her. She's not tough, but if you have to melee her as a hunter, u won't live past the 2 mothers with her.

I just got to level 11 on my healer and came here to look around. To my suprise I find this quest ring that I can not use because of my level. Is there a way that I can still achieve this ring?

shipwreck
# Dec 15 2001 at 10:42 AM Rating: Default
hi all. i am having trouble finding the Shipwreck. i have headed east from Auditlen along the road, found the first tomte fort on the left, crossed the bridge, found the little tomte camp to the left of the road. past that i found a viking fort. i have searched as well as i could on both sides of the road along the water, and no shipwreck...

i thought the shipwreck was just past the tomte camps? i assumed before the viking fort, since i have not heard it mentioned. have i not gone far enough? or too far? can anyone help?

never mind i found it. btw if you swim directly across the channel from Vasudheim you are right on top of the spot where Morra roams.
all true

i was told by someone in Vasudheim (i forget who, though, perhaps it was the troll in the house with the dwarf who gives the "bone dust" quest) to go talk to Aleanriver. maybe talking to that person first might help those who can't get her to talk straight out. she is located just outside the building closest to the bridge in Auditlen. i saw morra right about where everyone says she was, and landed a blow or two before someone of a higher level poached her just because. grr. i'll get her next time.

Aleaniver won't give me the quest. When trying to talk to her, I get the message: You aren't currently in a group

Why is that? Do I have to be in a group to get the quest?

you had the group chat option selected... just select the main chat option.

I'm level 6 and she's not giving me the quest. Currently Aleaniver is babbling on about Blodfelgs and Redhand. Nothing about killing Morra, and no quest given. I'm thinking it starts higher than 6.

The minimum level on this quest is 7 and not 6. I was unable to get the quest at 6 but at level 7 I completed it without any problems.
Got That Ring Also!
# Nov 08 2001 at 6:29 PM Rating: Default
I did this quest at level 11 last night (was grouped with a level 6 friend).

Morra was oviously grey to me, but i also ended up with that ring.

Very nice item even at my level.
New Runemaster item!

I did this quest yesterday with my Runemaster and while I used to receive those studded sleeves that Runies could never use I actually got a PLUS FIVE PIETY RING, which ist pretty much the most awesome thing a Runie can get at that level.

I very strongly recommend doing this quest as soon as you are powerful enough!

He/she spawns at the point where the road meets with the snow, a little past the tomte village. Just follow the path. I killed a sveawolf mother and morra spawned but i think it is a timed spawn. Morra had another sveawolf mother that was green to me at 7 with here by her side the whole way. They walked across the road. I took out morra (blue to me) and barely finished the mother off without dying. I got + strength arms.
Multiple spawn points?
# Nov 02 2001 at 1:24 PM Rating: Default
I'm not sure whether she has multiple spawn points, or moves very quickly. Night before last I SAW her spawn in the middle of the woods North (or is it East? up the coast anyway) of the shipwreck with 2 other wolves. She was green to my Hunter at 7, and the other 2 were grey. I was able to take out all 3 before the rest of my party was able to get to them.

I have also caught and killed her just South of the road MUCH farther West, near the Audliten
East bridge.

*sigh* I also got the marginally useful braclet, "Tail of Morra." My Healer got the Piety ring, and my Zerker got the sleeves, so the reward definately varies.
5 Piety ring
# Nov 02 2001 at 3:51 AM Rating: Good
I am a level 7 Runemaster and I just completed this quest. I received the 5 Piety ring for this quest not the Sleeves that another runemaster received. Also I found Morra on the opposite side of the road from the shipwreck. So casters go ahead and do this quest. Just cross your fingers and hope you get the ring and not the sleeves. Hope this helps.

I'm hunter and i did this quest...I got a bracelet though...called Tail of Morra, adds 1 str and 1 to swords. I really have no use for it since i use spears. Odd that i didnt get the studded sleeves though.

Arms as Hunter Reward
# Oct 24 2001 at 9:15 PM Rating: Default
I found Morra just as the first comment stated. She was accompanied by a young sveawolf. I was able to take both out solo at level 7 with no pet. The quest reward I received was the Studded Arms, which, as someone else pointed out above, is not usable by a Hunter until level 10.

The spawn time isn't 12 hours, I saw her 3 times within approx. 30 minutes.. the first two times someone else got her before me, 3rd time was the charm.

If you engage her, the other sveawolf mothers (that are normally neutral) in the area will come to assist if any are close enough. They are lower level than she is though, but don't get caught offguard :)

Personally killed her twice and a friend once in the space of 30min max.

We both had the quest and the first kill, someone not in our group tried to either KS or assist us and no quest item dropped. My friend went LD and within 5-10min Morra came strolling down next to the road, where she quickly died. On my way back to town, my friend came back from LD and once I reached Audliten, he had killed Morra again. So if you time how long it takes to run from Morra's kill spot, which is near the corner as the road bends south for the first time, back to town, you will get your approximate spawn time for her.

As a Level 7 Hunter, I received the Tail or Mora. Reading this, wish I got the sleeves :( Oh well maybe next time.
RE: Info

Aye same here, I've seen her plenty of times, certainly more often than once in 12 hours. I've always spotted her in between the tomte camp and the tomte little castle looking thing, both on the left seide of the road going from Audliten towards Dvalin. There's a ship run aground and from right around that area she can be spotted.
NPC Loc and Morra Loc
# Oct 22 2001 at 12:08 PM Rating: Default
The quest starts with a mob in Aud, she is in front of the building to the sw of the bridge. Morra spawns at night near the road. If you take the road leaving Aud to the east. follow it past the Tomte camp on your left and the tomte building on your right. When the road takes a right turn stop and turn left and wait. she spawns at night.

Hope this helps

Where the NPC is
# Oct 18 2001 at 12:28 PM Rating: Decent
Someone already posted this earlier on where this Quest NPC is located. Here it is again in case you missed it.

Aleaniver is located in the town of Audilten in East Svealand. I believe in one of the houses.
Where is Aleanriver?
# Oct 18 2001 at 9:53 AM Rating: Decent
Come on guys, if you're going to post information then POST THE INFORMATION.

What town is this Aleanriver in? I've killed Morra like 3 times while hunting and I'd like to get this quest.
Found Morra...
# Oct 17 2001 at 7:10 PM Rating: Decent
I finally found her but was different place than posted before I think...

If you go run away from the shipwreck so it is behind you and cross the road and go to the waters edge. That is where she is spawn... So she is by the shipwreck... Just a little distance away...

I got a studded bracer of Morra for doing the quest but can't use it until level 10 cause that's when Rogue Hunters can use studded armour... So I don't know the stats yet...

Outsiders ...

Be sure to look around more, not just on the hill. Check across the other side of the road away from the ship. Thats where I found her twice.

You had also better take your chance right away because other people will steal her out from under you, happened twice to me last night.
