Wizard's Appeal

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Per patch 1.76: - Wizard's Appeal - Players are no longer required to kill a Cornwall Hunter as part of this quest. Instead, players will now be sent to West Downs to meet with a new NPC who will ask them to kill a tomb raider on the nearby Salisbury Plain. Step One: I started this Quest at 24th level as a paladin by talking to Omis in Swanton Keep, He told me about a mage in Snowdonia Fortress whose name is Cynwik the Wizard. Step Two: Talk to Cynwik the Wizard about the druids, he denies knowing anything. Step Three: Talk to him again about the druids, he'll want you to prove your prowess. Step Four: Retrieve the essence of a cythraul (a group of skeletons in Llyn Barfog, loc = 33314 50612). The first one I found was yellow to me at 24th. Step Five: Return to Cynwik the Wizard with the essence. Step Six: he will tell you to talk to Roben Fraomar at Cornwall station about the Druids in Keltoi and the Elder Gwern. She can be found in the main building at Cornwall station upstairs in the first room on the right. Step Seven: After you speak to her about both the Druids in Keltoi and the Elder Gwern, she will send you to West Downs to meet with a new NPC who will ask them to kill a tomb raider on the nearby Salisbury Plain for a Hunter's journal (12K, 45K Salisbury Plain). Step Eight: Once you have killed the tomb raider and returned her the journal, she will tell you about a ill fated hunting party who had a run in with the Elder Gwern. She will warn you that Gwern is in Keltoi Fougi and you probably should take friends with you. Step Nine: But first she wants you to deliver a note to the Scribe Eril. He can be found at the very top of Archibald's retreat. He will give you payment for you detour. Step Ten: Descend into the Dungeon Keltoi Fogue and kill Gwern.(he was orange to me at 24th) he can be found in a rough walled cavern with a group of Recluse Druids. Step Eleven: Return back to Cynwik the Wizard for you reward lvl 49 received 1.5million in experience. Rewards: Necklace of Perseverance -- Reaver, Mercenary Brooch of Hidden Celerity -- Scout and Minstrel Brooch of Conferred Blessings -- Cleric and Friar Power Endued Brooch -- Wizard, Theurgist, Necromancer Rewards: |

This quest is currently level bugged. I picked it up with my lvl 20 Reaver, and there is no way it can be finished. The MOB is BIG purple now. This is a result of the mob realignment post Catacombs. I have appealed it.
