DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different

Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest.

Your trainer will tell you to talk to Anrai, and she will tell you of a careless lucragen by the name of Wug has stolen a clay pot from the house of one of the merchants in Tir Na mBeo. Wug is difficult to find due to his size but tends to wander just behind the town near the circle of flat stone rocks (loc 18, 49) and on the hill to the left of there. He wanders anywhere from 17k to 20k and 53k to 59k. (Note: It has been suggested that by killing the Bristle and the 2 Lucridans in Wug's location may help in making Wug spawn.)

After the initial dialog he will start to walk away, and speaking with him again will result in the pot at which time he became hostile towards me. He will assist other lucradens in combat and you cannot run from him even while sprinting. Semi-dangerous if your reputation is low since there tends to be others nearby. Both he and the other wild lucradens in the area tend to range from 9th-11th level.

Return the clay pot for your reward.

*I spent some time looking for Wug, he was nowhere to be found, a named badger, Bristle however was up the whole time, i killed it to see if it was taking up Wugs spot and about 5 minutes after it died Wug showed up.

My quest for the jug was quite different, having found Wug in a bunch of trees SW of TNM he preceeded to tell me he had had his lucky rabbits foot eaten by a badger. Ithen killed one of the nearby badgers, a yellow for me at lev 11, which dropped the foot. I returned it to Wug and he happily gave me the pot, without me having to harm or kill him. Before this I had tried killing Wug but he failedto drop the pot upon death. And yes you must kill Bristle the badger if he is there instead, or Wug will not appear. Bristle appeared orange to me.

    More info on Mentalist Line
    # Oct 24 2001 at 3:45 AM Rating: Default
Can I get some more info on doing this quest as a Mentalist? I'll supply what I can... Some names might be misspelled.

I got it from the Mentalist trainer at 11th level -- Anari doesn't even talk to me. I had to kill about 7 or 8 badgers before I got the foot (not including multiple kills of Bristle, the named Badger).

When I went back and gave Wug the foot, instead of attack me he said he had already sold it. Seems he sold it to Dicra, the enchanter back in Tir na mBeo.

Dicra gave me some powder to give to Viola in Caille/Bri Leith. Directions there appeared in my quest journal.

HOWEVER, those directions are either faulty or are taking me into a far too dangerous area for my level (11).

My hubby and I did this quest at the same time. I got off easy and got the jug to return in Tir na mBeo. He tried to hand in the foot and got the powder ending to the quest. We started running to the area but realized we were WAY out of our league in the area. So we went to Ardee and took a horse to the only destination given, a farm. From there we took a horse to Druim Cain. It was a bit of a ride but after a bit a guard tower showed up. We kept riding down a long slope until we saw a town. We jumped off and sure enough the person to finish the quest was there. We killed some stuff (great hunting area 11-13) and finished running down to Druim Cain (a fairly short run considering). Once there we hopped on a horse back to Tir na mBeo. May have cost us 15 silver all around but killing the stuff in the area of Caille, everything dropped at least a silver if not 5.

His blademaster got a pendant with some stats.

    Good luck finishing this quest!!

Followed Katyana's direction to the letter, and sure enough, it took me exactly where I needed to go. Very helpful. :)

Was a great quiet area to hunt in as well, with mobs ranging from mostly yellow to red at level 11. And very quiet!

The reward for the mentalist quest was a gem with +3 int, +1 Mentalism skill, and increase to power *not sure how much*.

When I turned level 11 my trainer (Druid) gave me this quest. You don't need to talk to Anrai first. Just go right behind Tir na Mbeo and look for Wug. It took me a long time but he's not far behind the town. He was kind of near the circle of rocks. Talk to him. I killed a couple badgers so far and haven't gotten the foot yet but I guess I need to keep trying =)
    Hope this info helps.
    Wug wanders
    # Oct 23 2001 at 9:55 AM Rating: Default
Ive seen wug several times in the hills behind Tir Na Boe. Go a little southwest out of town, btween lough derg and silvermountains border almost he wanders there alot. I have also seen bristle in the same area as well. I couldn't find this quest anyway so I suspect I won't get it until Im higher level. Ive talked with every npc I can reach so far and have done every quest I've been given. Until I get this quest I won't know what it will reward me, a level 11 Eldrich.

I finished this quest today. Took me awhile to find Wug because it says he's in the woods, but he's actually in the clearing part behind Tir na mBeo: just up the hill from the stones and wanders the area. The stats of the idol is +3 empathy and +1 power. Hope that helps. :)

I've been looking for Wug for days now. I've been carrying a foot with and just can't find him anywhere. If you go straight west from Tir na mBeo, you'll come on a large fallen tree in the middle of a field. Where is he usually found in relation to that tree. ANY help here would be greatly appreciated. there is a difference between tasks and quests. Saying /help or /task will give you a task... which is a single step cash + exp quest. Quests, on the other hand, are recieved by clicking on an NPC as you would to see what a shopkeeper has to sell. Then a little text box opens to the right, and it has quest information. Just click on the highlighted words and follow the directions.

Start the quest by speaking to Nyderra in Ardee. It took several badger kills before I received the required foot. I also received the idol of nature.

I am a 11th Level blademaster and got the quest for wugs jug. Wug told me to find the lucky foot. It took me about an hour to finally get one off a badger and its any badger. Gave lucky foot to him he turned on me i kicked his **** and i got pot. You turn it in to a dude in the Tir'mabo named Anrai i think thats spellings right. He is in the hut and is a wep merchant. For blade masters you get your next level gloves with all 100% dur, con ect... and 5% bonus. Plus it give str/dex and will con yellow at 11th. Thats about it (pant...Pant..)

    # Oct 19 2001 at 12:09 AM Rating: Decent
After I killed about 6 badgers, I finally got the message that I had recieved the Foot needed by Wug. My reward from the excited owner was the Guantlets of Sure Grip; reinforced gauntlets that look like Grey steel plate and add +3 to Dex and Str, Armor factor 22, Abs. 19. Very nice for a up and coming Blademaster. Can'y advise on other class rewards.

I talked with Wug, and was told about the badger. I killed several, both named and un-named, with no luck. I thought it might be Bristle, but no, then I figured it could be ANY badger, but that didn't happen either.

People mistakenly think they have to kill Bristle to get the lucky foot. If you kill ANY badger, it automatically appears in your inventory.
