DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different This quest is given by Gogarty Muire in Connacht, close to Muire Tomb entrance at a stone, at loc: 37k, 44k. Talk to him and he will tell you the story of his family and ask you to get rid of the curse before he goes mad. When you accept the quest you receive a Gogarty's Journal, which is the main tool you will be using for this quest as it has all the instructions to finish it, remember to check it often, it will update after each step is completed. All family members are located inside Muire Tomb, so a good map is also very recommended, click link in menu box for multiple map/guide options Now, the quest... Step 1: Kill Beare. Very easy, no surprises here. Step 2: Kill Alsandair. You receive a Dueling Sword, keep it! Step 3: Kill Conaire. You HAVE to kill him using the Dueling Sword you recieved from Alsandair or quest will not advance. Up to this point can be done by two persons (We did it as 24 Druid and 24 Nightshade), but from now on you will need more people. Step 4: Kill Shyene. Be aware several of her Guards will spawn as soon as you attack Shyena and most of other mobs in the room are linked to her. Step 5: Kill Kacey. This is a bit more complicated. First, you have to kill her to get Kacey's Charm. This is a magical charm that protects her from permanent harm. Second, you must destroy the charm by using it at the foot of the stairs, then you can kill Kacey again and quest will advance. Kill kacey Quest says you have to stelth up and take charm. Your entry says to kill her and you get charm . Then destroy and kill again. We tried this many times. Finally I used Open command as we were fighting her I got the charm destroyed it and then killed again and quest proceeded. So use the open command and you will get the charm. Step 6: Kill Quillan. Nasty mob, be ready. Step 7: Return to Gogarty Muire and give him the journal. You receive nearly 1,000.000 xp and 2 gp. Now you have several rewards to choose from. Note that after you pick one, you will be able to choose what material you want it made of (cloth, leather, reinforced or scale). General remark to those who want to endeavour this challenging quest: the hardest part of the quest is between Conaire and Shyene: you have to not only kill the Conaire group, but you have to get past them to get to Shyene, and you have to kill the guards at the stairs behind Conaire before the Conaire group respawns, which sometimes happens pretty fast. I've killed Kacey dozens of times, and I've never gotten the Charm. I've used the "Open" key before, during, and after each fight, and nothing. Unless I'm having horrible luck, this quest REQUIRES a stealther to sneak up and swipe the thing. (perhaps it has changed since the quest was introduced?)
