Darksong's Dirge

DISCLAIMER: Your Steps and Tasks may be different Characters that were created after Patch Version 1.79 do not receive this Epic quest. Your trainer (Per or Dane) tells you that Darksong and her new husband were traveling when they were set upon and killed. Now her ghost roams the land looking for peace and he asks that you kill her to let her rest. Bring proof of the death to Lilib and you may keep her ring. Darksong is a ghost that I found on the edge of the snowfield by Dvalin. If you take the road from Dvalin toward the nearby guard tower, you'll find Darksong to the left of the road just before you get to the tower. Darksong is alive from about 11pm to 5am each day, in the location near 10946, 49575. She was blue to me at 11 and I was able to solo her when fully buffed and carrying a good hammer. She dropped a lock of hair. I gave the lock of hair to Lilib who is in the tower by Dvalin, loc 15325, 52775. I was given a ring and instructions to return to the trainer with the story of her being put to rest. On speaking to the trainer I was given experience and told to keep the Pious Ring. Reward: |

I was given the quest at 13, but Dane didn't give me -any- information, other than I was supposed to get a ring from Darksong, take the hair to Lilib, and keep thr ring. If it hadn't written been here, it would have just sat in my journal forever, unless I had just happened by Dvalin at night and seen her. Anyone else had that problem?

Aye, Quest Information is broken on it because it gives you the quest right off without you being able to click dialog--- I reported it to Mythic to see if they do anything :P

Yes, I was in the same situation you were. I too was going to forget about it until I found the instructions here. Oh well, I'm off to complete this lv. 11+ quest and I just hit lv. 19. =P
