Vivification Cabalist strategy

As a level 50 spirit cabalist, I died five separate times fighting Deliah. I recommend major caution if you are used to letting your simulacrum do your fighting, as the simulacrum will get lost when she begins teleports.

The fight is actually really straightforward.

First you must get close to her.

BUT DO NOT GET TOO CLOSE! She will melee staff you.

Now if you are in the correct position, then either Body debuff her first or go straight to draining her essence.

May the light of Camelot shine on you. I /use Hope you succeed.

Death sight necro L48 with my buffbot L48 as well. Keep the buffbot outside the room but in sight of the pet. Just follow her as she ports and lifetap her. Pretty easy and that necklace sells well.

This boss is easily soloable with a sight necro (servant necro ?). Simply run up to her, place pet on argo, and begin casting lifetap. When your pet reaches about 20-30% health move back to the hallway, release your pet and recast another, then return to the fight. Due to line of sight she cannot cast on you while in the hallway and she cannot leave the 2 alcoves in the main room to come looking for you either. These fights can be very long however and you may end up finding yourself running out of power a lot if you don’t have Serenity 2 or better, or a friend along to give you Power Regen. If you have the luxury of a buffbot then the necro will hardly ever need to recast the pet. The trick is to do this with the minimal amount of people in the room as possible because her level rises for every additional person in the room. I suggest no more then 2 total as this seems to work best for me.

This encounter is actually a lot easier for a Sight necro if you leave the pet on passive. Stand right on top of Deliah and cast lifetap repeatedly. When she casts some blue sparkles, she's going to warp, so start looking around. When she lands, repeat. I can usually get her on the first warp, or about 30 seconds total.

If your pet is on aggro (at least mine) he'll get lost in between warps, and get nuked to death while running aimlessly.

I'm a 50 paladin and couldn't solo her. She was doing like 230-260dmg each hit and since she was doing crush dmg against my plate it didn't feel to good. Luckily you can run out and she won't follow you.

This was a very fun fight. She's standing alone in a room (she should be alone for the entire fight...I don't get how she's social) and cannot be attacked from a distance. The aggro range is greater than 80, also, I believe, as she aggroed on our paladin before he was within range to cast his taunt spell. After you begin fighting, she'll teleport around to the various alcoves in the room; and the open floor area will have spikes randomly shoot up from it. The spike traps do pretty good damage; I think it was around 300 to my Warlock. She attacks mostly with ranged spells (DoTs, debuffs, and DDs...I don't think she bolts), but I think she may have hit me with her staff some time. You gotta just keep running to the different alcoves where she is, since you can't attack her from any sort of range. I'll probably try this again solo some time, but it may be wise to have a companion if you're some sort of caster or otherwise not very good at doing melee damage.

*edit*
Yeah, DoTs also don't work on her. They do initial damage but don't tick.
