Evern  

Evern was taken down by a group 8 members today and dropped a shield and a band. I was sorely disappointed that such a hard named monster would only drop 2 items.

Below is the exact group configuration I set up to take down Evern (all lvl 50):

3 rangers, 1 mana mentalist, 1 mana chanter, 1 bard, and 2 druids.

1) Chanter send pet in and cast focus shield.
2) Rangers and mentalist MUST kill all the fairies that Evern summon before it land on one of the many stones surrounding Evern. If you fail to kill a fairy then it will heal Evern and there are 23 stones so that is 23 fairies healing Evern if your group decide to melee him only.
3) Re-cast the focus shield when the chanter has power (we provided level 40 power pots to our chanter).
4) Don't let the pet die and just keep nailing the fairies before they land. This Hibernian Glacier Giant equivalent went down in 20 minutes with the above strategy. So much for Glacier Giant equivalent eh?
