My Spiritmaster in nisse

In nisse's lair,i always go there for good loot.i am a lvl 14 spiritmaster, and went from lvl 10-14 in there, mostly by pulling big mobs then using PBAOE to blast them to oblivion.
best thing to do:get a good grp of lvl 14-16 ppl(I used 2 full grps)take out nisse a bunch of times, then go to the sentinals and camp there for a while, then go deeper. If you have 3 or 4 full grps of ppl you can take Hnaki.(I say 3-4 becouse i tried with 2 fulll grps and all died, but maybe that was becouse he went after our strong healers first.....)
Hm...

I'm struggling through level 9 right now, and I went into Nisse's lair and was surprised at the great bonus for these things just sitting there for so long untouched. Is this place a good area for groupage and whatnot?
yea....

Hnaki can spawn at least as high as 22. The deeper parts of the dungeon aren't that bad to mess around with even at 21-22 if you're just bored. I soloed down to Nisse with my zerker earlier and everything except Hnaki was blue or less, although there was 1 large room I didn't enter because of a large amount of blues close by the entrance.

I got 2 bubbles at level 22, which isn't bad for a 20 minute fun run without a healer or anything.

Problem is the Large variance if monsters. I can solo handlers and the likes, but if you go down..very high level.....go up...high levels. But Mithra is lacking in rooms that lower level guys can hunt. I mean ****..... Forgotten room until 14..bull ****..
nisse isnt 18

Im a lvl 22 warrior now and I miss Nisses lair.
It was a fun place to go to and I always thought it was quite amusing when a train came.
It was fun when it went chaotic.

I too had some problem with "holes". Although I didn't fall through any ... it seemed like 50% of the loot that dropped disappeared.

I lost out on 4 pieces of Mephetic Studded Armor.

I like the lair but it seems too many stupid people go in such as they pull things like posion spider which are 14+ and they are only 10- then they run out and evry1 left in the lair's main room has to deal with them its really annoying. I agree that the tomb of mirtha is better cause there are many ways to get to the exits which makes it had to pull a guy up to the top floor. However in the lair you can't pull that high stuff unless you know you can kill it casue if you try to run you end up running into other groups of people which sucks for those people. So a word of adive if your running from a high monster tell others in the lair so there no stuck killing it. I personally don't go in the lair anymore not until i'm 18 at least you can die alot from people actiung stupid and that gets to be annoying word of adive try leveling outside the duegon unless you got a really good group and the lair isn't crowed which it almost always is.

I agree, the number of koto'ing trains is usually high at the entrance and first main room if the Lair... People, please only go as deep as you know you can take. If you are not solo'ing at the entrance (or can solo deeper), have a healer (or 2 shaman) in your group. Getting tired of all the chaotic train situations...

"Poor try Illia, hopefully this site will be as reliable as the EverQuest one."

Man...tough crowd, cut the site developers a break! I mean, how long has DaoC been up? Why not just suggest the corrections and not mouth off?

Great Job guys. Keep up the good work.

Level Ranges
# Nov 02 2001 at 5:21 PM Rating: Default
Tomte Zealot = 14-18
Tomte Jager = 12-18
Tomte Hoodoo = 11-12
Tomte Guard = 12-18
Tomte Caitiff = 13-18
Poisonous Cave Spider = 11-18
Nisse = 16-18

Nothing is red to a level 18, Jager, Caitiff, Guard, Zealot, Nisse, Poisonous Cave Spider, can all be yellow to 18.
RE: Level Ranges
# Nov 20 2001 at 3:32 PM Rating: Default
Tomte Hoodoos invariably /con Green to me at 18th level, so they're no lower than 15th.

I've never yet seen a Jager that was lower than Blue, or a Caitiff that was lower than Yellow.

Poisonous Cave Spiders are Blue or Yellow to me, mostly blue.

Haven't seen a Zealot yet, only seen Nisse once, because I mostly solo Cave Spiders in here for xp.

The Haunt has always been Yellow to me at 18th level, so I'm thinking it's no higher than 18th.

Soloing in here as a Healer is a lot of fun, & pretty challenging due to the number of Tomte patrols that occasionally run through here. Loot isn't bad, & the xp is usually quite nice, plus there's always lower-lvl players needing a rez, which means I get to play Hero & sometimes get paid for doing so. But I really wish the place weren't so cramped, & frankly, I think this zone blows chunks compared to the Albion "newbie" dungeon, Tomb of Mithra -- which feels larger & less cramped, & seems to give both better loot & xp.

Location

Its just outside Hugenfel ( SP ? ) go to the bridge near the water instead of crossing the bridge go past the tomte camp there and swim to the small island there its on that island.
Umm hehe yeah
# Nov 02 2001 at 1:15 PM Rating: Default
Some decent loot there for lvls 8 - 12 or so at the entrance room. Ive gotten Tomte Legs, jerkin, Axe, Spear, Warhammer and Chain gloves ( which Ive only seen that one time) also a cloak there that I think has +3 con they are all yellow to a lvl 11. So not bad for the lvls also great xp.
