Can you parry with a blunt weapon? We have a lvl 14 Warden who was not aware that she gets this skill and worked up blunt instead of bladed, should she now work up bladed instead?

My warden uses blunts and parrys just fine. Don't waste your points on blades.

My warden uses blunt weapons and parry's just fine. It's just a form of block and no special animation goes with it. You do hear a "TINK" of metal striking metal. Don't waste points on blade if you are using blunt.

I wouldn't work up bladed yet. I believe that parry works across all weapon types for the classes that can use it.

Don't waste any points in bladed until you are sure, and you might want to save some points you might be considering putting into blunt until you are sure.

Basically it comes down to picking one melee weapon type and sticking with it. No class gets enough points to really be able to put some in a secondary weapon class outside of a ranged attack maybe. As a Warden you will want to pick one weapon and stick with it while working up your other skills for healing and/or buffing.
