Referring to the savage page, I started a savage to do fletching with him, because my hunter already started alchemy and can't be switched to a "basic" tradeskill (alchemy & spellcrafting being considered higher tradeskills, and introduced later in the game), but the master said I can't, and the Herald tradeskills page also not showing for savage, only hunter & shadowblade allowed in Midgard.

The Midgard Fletcher Trainer is in the NW corner of Jordheim. There are three buildings in a row very close to the lathe and forge. The Fletcher Trainer is in the middle building.
The merchants for fletching crafting are in the big building next to the lathe and forge.

Why do they make you go halfway across Hibernia to find things like Runewood Boards? I think that the capital should have ALL of the items needed for crafting. It is hard to make any money when I have to run all the way to Domnann to get fletching supplies.

You are made to go all the way across Hibernia because, perhaps, Runewood Boards are only grown/made there. These days, capitals, and even large stores have most of the items we need day to day because of international trading. Who does the international trading? Traders, of course. Trading is their trade.. I suppose, then, you could call them Tradeskillers. Now, if all the tradeskillers on X server in Y country went and talked to the tradeskillers in Z country, then perhaps some sort of trade route can be established. Then again, with any established trade route, there comes the opportunity to hold it up. Such is life.

Or, if you want the short answer: The capital doesn't have all the items in it because you havn't established an online corporation dedicated to supplying the capital with hard to find tradeskill components. So, either you do that, or you keep taking your long walks.

Cheers,

In respose to the question regarding metal working skills. If in Albion, or on the co-op you can craft studded armor. Even though it will only gi to 40% of your fletch it will raise clothwork, leatherwork and metal working as high as your fletching score. I have a 540 in all making steel studded. Cheap and efficent.

Can anyone direct to a website that has a good guide on fletching? In Hibernia if possible, but any basic guide would be great, or if anyone would care to outline it themselves, I would gretly appreciate any help.

I have seen this program that allows you to craft while not at your computer. All you had to do was bye the material and start the program, it would run till you where out of material. Anyone know what is called or where I can find it?
