    SC'ing maxed skills
    # Jan 11 2005 at 8:46 PM Rating: Decent
Hi, I'm wondering about adding points to maxed skill lines. For example, a Reaver who has trained his Flex to 50. Is there any point in adding spellcrafted points to flex? Other than items that raise the flex cap thus allowing further points to be added is there any other way to raise the skill level? Can artifacts do this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

If you are talking about the etched aquamarine eye, it's on the apprentice alchemist in the market place in Erikstadt, along with the hammer to mash the diamond seals. That's the only stone I can think of above 1000 level.
    Spellcraft tasks
    # Oct 15 2004 at 3:18 PM Rating: Decent
Can you take tasks from the spellcrafting master like you would in Tailoring? And if so, what skill level would I have to be to finaly be able to take these tasks. This skill is becoming very difficult to afford on its own.

    # Oct 15 2004 at 3:52 PM Rating: Decent
Yes, you can get crafting quests for Spellcrafting. They start at level 400 and continue to level 800 just like the other tradeskill quests.

I understand the quest part, but when you do /whisper task with other trade skill maters they give you a task that can help you get a small profit off an item they ask you to craft, thats what I want to know when I'll be able to do. My master keeps telling me that I need more practice.

    Spellcrafting in Tradeskill list
    # Mar 12 2004 at 3:31 PM Rating: Decent
Spellcrafting does not even show up for me in my list of tradeskills. Have I messed something up? I am a Level 20 Wizard, with 350 Tailoring, cloth, etc.

    Thanks,
    Flandor

Well if you took Tailoring as your main crafting skill, you won't get spellcrafting.

WeEll having been LGM SC'r for over a year now and recently having to max again. I can tell you the cost and time to max your SC will be about 35 plat and many long boring hours on the computer hitting #'s. Max used to be 1049 and I reached that with 25 plat. but after that recent update max went up to 1059 and can only be done using Diamond seals from DF and cost each try comes out at about 252 gold. sell back is only 124 gold :(.
for the last 10 points it has costed me 10 plat and i still need 1 to max, I'm at 1058. Hope that answers your question. If you have any other SC questions feel free to contact me directly. my e-mail is Sharinal@hotmail.com

Some of the spellcrafting/alcahmy vendors sell it. Here are a few vendors who do, though this is not all, I'm still working on entering all the NPC's in game and what they sell so not all the SC/AC vendor's who sell this item are listed yet.

    Hope this helps a little,

There are 3 merchants in the building next to the "Magic Shop" that sell these items, the merchants have 3-4 pages it items each, though appear to be about the same as far as content. Their name(s) and location are:

    Gremain Watford loc=24844,17686,8463 dir=213
    Chelseigh Stilman loc=28523,20862,8009 dir=58
    Brach Leof loc=28834,21408,8009 dir=58

There is no minimum level requirement, you just probably wont be able to afford equipment till you get above level 5 ;)

I am by no means an expert on it, but it generally works like this.

Just like monsters, crafting is based on skill. If its green, you should have no problem making it, but gain very little xp, if its orange, it will fail more often than not, but you'll gain xp. (xp doesnt mean xp to level, but in spellcrafting mind you).

The number next to the item your trying to make supposedly means the level you need to be at (not charcter level, but crafting level) to make that item 100% of the time.

As for guides, go to the links section, or search the site, plenty of guides about

    Need more simple instructions
    # Dec 30 2002 at 8:28 PM Rating: Decent
I have a new enchanter on Dark Ages of Camelot and I want to make her a spellcrafter and all but these instructions are not very simple like the ones given for EQ. Does any one have any simpler advice on how to get your levels up using specific recipes for spell crafting. I just feel slightly in the dark since they didnt give us any kind of a spell crafting manual with the game. Also thanks to the people who made these helpful manuals and applications for spellcrafting.
