I need to know more about the supprestion and darkness and runecarving.. there are 3 of them but like 5 lists of spells which ones increase which i really dont understand, where should i put my stats?

Ok as of a patch or two ago, when they said debuffs improved vs. buffed targets, Mythic never mentioned a massive drop on debuff numbers. Do a shift+i on em if you haven't lately. Hoope ths some kind of bug, as my str debuff that did 80 now lists as like 36.

shielding spells

just wanted to know if anyone has any more specific info on the shielding spells, meaning if u have more points into suppression will your shields increase af more? is there any way to tell exactly how much this shield is buffing you? i didn't notice any of my stats green (AF) as a result of casting the spell...i could be mistaken tho

Increasing suppression skill level does not increase the amount of armor factor you receive from armor factor buffs.

You can look at the char screen (the one with the stats) to see the AF increase.
Look at the AF before the spell, then after the spell.
You can also do Shift-I on the spell, and it'll tell you how much the increase is.

Um, no.
These are the base-line spells, the Suppression spells.
The Spirit Suppression and Runes of Suppression spec-lines are the skill based ones. They are listed elsewhere.

SMs and RMs get all the Suppression spells, regardless of how they spec out the char. They get these spells as they lvl.

AS far as i know this is level NOT skill based. I havn't even gone to my trainer since starting, and my mystic is level 3 now, and i have all 3 of the first spells here.

The base lines are all based off your level, and are better than listed values with specialization.The other lines are based on your level of specialization.

From my experience these spells are far more effective as you put points into it's specialization though, just a note...

Eg: if you are heavily specialized in runes of supression, you will notice your roots and debuffs from the supression spell list will last longer and be resisted less, though your runecarving line of spells wont cause as much damage and will be resisted more than if you had specialized in runes of destruction...

This is simply a theory, not confirmed, but i am pretty damn sure based on my playing :)

I have played both a Runes of Suppression oriented Runemaster and a Runecarving Runemaster. I have noticed that my level-based Suppression root is no less effective on my Runecarving build (with level 1 runes of suppression) then on my Suppression build (30 runes of suppression). Thus, I don't think increasing suppression skill level improves your chances of landing a root or debuff.
