Spec?

so, for a Shadowblade, would it be wise to keep Stealth at your level, CS at your level, and then some into your weapon of choice, in my case thrust, then some into envenom.... will this work at all?

The character types that have the skills outlined in your post are the Nightshade (Hib), Infiltrator (Alb), and the Shadowblade (Mid), depending in which realm you are starting. I would suggest you checkout the pages here and read some of the links for each of these.

# May 12 2003 at 12:07 AM Rating: Default
Use F5 and u'll see a little target thing underneath you...use move and it'll move the target around when holding F5 and then click on distraction and it'll use it.

Stealth Training
# Jan 08 2003 at 2:22 PM Rating: Decent
I have not trained in steath since day one. I am a more than adequate ShadowZerker, and use a sword. Stealth will auto train every so lvls. I'm letting it auto-train. This does make me a bit less Stealthy on the lower lvl Bg's, however, the extra 50+ points will come in handy in the long run. 2 bits ;^)

Re: Assasins Vs Scout Types
# Sep 02 2002 at 4:03 PM Rating: Default
Alright, yes, to my knowledge (And i'm only going by what i've heard from bits and pieces of conversations from my guildees) Assasins CAN see other stealthers farther than scouts. It helps that Assasins get the Detect Hidden skill which ups their range (I think anyways)

Although, it would be more logical for Assasins to see stealthers at a further distance thans Scouts regardless of their level of stealth.

I hope this answers your question or at least helps

climb walls??
# Aug 27 2002 at 1:14 AM Rating: Default
how do you climbs walls?
RE: climb walls??
# Aug 31 2002 at 9:26 PM Rating: Default
You have to skill up stealth to 25 (without items)...

At some points at a keep's wall there are some kinds of steps ... just walk on straight ahead there and you'll start to climb

hey guys i see it this way if u r a NS and see a norseman come up by u in stealth i would unstealth and get the hell out of there u can see that he is going to kill u anyway so no point of waiting for him and trying to kill him. and yeah if u r a ranger, hunter, or scout u can have your stealth high to hide from people but assasins will always find u so yeah u can put points in stealth but bow is really what u want to put points in.

Detect Hidden & Danger Sense

Umm how do you use detect hidden and danger sense or is it all automatic and is it according to your stealth level how good you are at these two things?

Good
# Aug 02 2002 at 10:09 AM Rating: Default
It's still good to get a good amount of stealth on a ranger or hunter or whatever you may be. It still lets you move faster while hidden and the ability to not be seen except probably by assassins is still great. If you don't have stealth don't expect the color of your tunic to hide you....

And come now, of course the assassin gets more abilities in stealth, that's one of the main skills for an assassin. A ranger doesn't need to climb walls, because he can shoot at stuff in the forts, while an assassin has to be right there near someone to kill him.

What it the average stealth points to be reached to get a quite 'safe' RvR for a ranger at lvl 35 and then a upper levels?
Is 25 points sufficient or do we have to get much more ?

# Jul 25 2002 at 9:14 PM Rating: Default

Wrong
# Jul 10 2002 at 11:21 AM Rating: Default
Uh this is misleading, hunters dont get any special stealth abilities except being invisible. They should get an altered detect hidden ability which will work when the other stelather is in melee range. This would effectively negate both the assassins and the hunters critical strikes and leave it up to melee ability, but this is probably wishful thinking.
