Damage and Snare (AOE) - Target takes damage. Damage done is of the spell's given damage type. Target's movement speed is also slowed by the given percentage, which gives the caster more time before the target closes to melee range.
Extra Info:
This is an "Area of Effect" (AOE) spell which can affect multiple targets in the spell's radius and does less damage the further away targets are from the spell's center.

I can understand why you might be somewhat disappointed with this line at your level if you are just now getting them, but don't throw them out the window as useless...just look at the numbers: Frigg's Antidote heals 30hp for 6 five-second cycles...so that's 180hp over 30 seconds for a meager 9 power. However, Greater Amelioration (the next step up in the mending spec) is 145hp instantaneously for a whoppin' 29 power. So, if you have the time to spare, this is a very power-economical heal. It might also not generate agro if cast before combat is initiated, so that's another possible plus...though I've not tested it a lot yet...I just like to argue ;). Try it out...you may yet find some use for it.
