What's new in EQ for you? Since it's been a while since the last update, it doesn't need to be this past weekend or anything.

A couple of days ago I took advantage of the bonus XP to get my Agnarr main, a monk, up to level 17. If leveling is a marathon, I'm happy to be way back in the pack!

I ran into Taterkuk when I zoned into Runneye (just passing through) and had a chat. Taterkuk is a character name (Did I spell it right? lol) used by Bijou from the Allakhazam forums here.

My monk's name is "Project" if anyone catches me on (I am sporadic) and wants to chat.

I should probably join a guild that is casual/sporadic play friendly --any recommendations for Agnarr server?

I know it's been slow but I think we all got logged out here and I had to locate my password.

Been enjoying the HH events for really the second time ever on live. The first time I was able to get glowing othni, and this time, reis, for guildies. Prices on gear is getting rather silly, with people asking for 1m for gear that is rather easy to obtain.

I'm not playing on TLP despite my initial interest. I guess the whole krono mentality there puts me off. I'm happy where I am and still enjoying the trip.

I farmed some of the HH zones for gear and glowing turn in armor, then jumped on several alts to level them to 71 in order to use said loot. After leveling, I had several charm drops that I had to faction my alts in order to maximize the value.

I agree about the gear pricing. On my "home" server, Tunare there are 3-4 individuals that are simply ridiculous in their pricing. I simply avoid them like the plague. Some items that are going for 60-80K, I had to parcel to various lowbie alts because I had so many drop. They were far from rare. By watching the bazaar regularly, I usually eventually find the items I want in the 1-3K range. Patience IS a virtue!

On another note, I have several alts from the free heroic giveaway a few months ago that I have been unable to complete upgrading their armor because the required templates are AWOL in the bazaar. Several tradeskillers who used to regularly have these for sale are notably MIA. Argath items are easy to get, though also pricey if you are in to much of a hurry. Strange because on other servers it is easy to find the templates. Tunare's economy is blotto for some reason.

I'm not sure what is coming up for me. I've exhausted everything I had planned to do.

I've been busy working on verifying pre kunark spells on Agnarr lately so the only time I'm logged into Agnarr I'm checking what spells are in game on various created alts in most major cities and other various spots where spells are sold.

So... 20 days later and my monk is still level 17!

It takes a while to level when you are only getting about 25 minutes of solo dark blue kills a couple of times a week. Not complaining, as I have actually made progress with my glacier-style approach.

When I get a real play session I will get in a group and put on some levels. In the meantime, the solo slow-play is decent for skilling up and learning some monk tactics. Feign Death fails 9 times out of 10 still, so I basically need to mash it any time it is up (already sunk all my GM points into it and mend).

Another observation: bandages are pricey in classic for what you get for drops under level 20. Also, it's easy to run low on bandages as a monk.
