I don't understand how I can do my Research Trophy test when i am unable to make the combine needed for the Highland Sludge Drying Powder which will only let Shm combine.
I am a Wiz should I not be able to do research task?

For the Sample of Filtered Highland Sludge required for the subcombine, you can either ask a SHM to make it for you, or use the GoD Refine Raw GoD Materials quest.

I guess it is the combine for the Highland Sludge drying Powder I am stuck on. I have to do the combine.
The Abysmal Sea merchant gave me the Sample of filtered for the regular sludge, but I don't see anyway for the next step. The only task they gave me required a combine that is also Shm only?

Wow I am sorry I was able to complete, seems I was using an extinguished camp fire instead of the Gnomish heat source! Dang!!
