Used up your npc already? Drop your pearl and go to a renevuu(sp?) point and your npc will give you a knew one w/ timer set at 0 ^~^ this can only be done 1 real life do though
I am extremely scared to try this... <_<;
why be scared to try it? you can redo the quest.
Twice a day? This sounds like unlimited use of your NPC via this method, and if that's the case, SE wil fix it so when you get a new pearl it'll be at 20 hours till next use, making it so you have to wait even more.
Can anyone confirm this? >_>
I just did it on my npc and my ls partner did it w/ his. I say take full advantage of this before SE fixes it =X

I can confirm this. Drop your Signal Pearl and go to the Rendezvous Point to call for your fellow - there will be a new option "I need a Signal Pearl." Select it and you get another recharged crack at your fellow for the day!

I think they have thought about it otherwise the option wouldn't be there... It is an actual option from the NPC. This isn't an exploit. Hidden option that we have yet to discovered.

What do you mean by this though - can only do it once per real time day? Can only be done once?
Can anyone confirm whether you can get unlimited replacement pearls?
Well i didn't drop it twice in a row but a member of my ls did and they said his npc said that he couldn't give him another one till later so it's twice a day im guessng =)
Cool - thanks for that, gonna take my 36DRG/WHM to Qufim for some EP's today, will then sit here and read to see if it's one ingame day to get a new Pearl, if not, I'd guess 1 RL day as you said... can't wait to try out Attacker and Healer styles >.>

The only problem I could see with this is say your NPC has started to lvl, gained new armor, and gotten a new job change. Once your drop your pearl and get a new one, is this all erased and your NPC started from scratch?

no you drop your pearl, and your npc gives you anotherone (you know for ppl who accidnetly drops them so you don't have to dtart all over from scratch) just to claify

I tested this myself (im the LS member he mentioned). Since he didnt give me the pearl the second time, im assuming he gives another one when the servers reset (10 am est). It could always be longer though =x

I just did this and took him for this third leveling session. When I came back, he offered the job combat mode list, so I presume he retained his status and everything.

Thats why I'm worried to try this. My NPC just got into the trader's set and I would hate to lose that.
Can someone provide a series of screencaps as way of evidence? Would be the simplest solution.

Just did this and i can confirm that you don't lose anything. NPC ding'd 32 while soon after i brought her out after doing this again.
Ok - the definitive answer, you can use your NPC 3 times a day. After you drop the ring, the NPC loses no XP and will give you a new ring if she hasn't done so within the past 7 hours (game week) already... So you can use your NPC once every 7 hours - I have done this myself and has been confirmed by another LS member.
