Soloing, DAoC or EQ?Follow

#1 Jul 20 2005 at 1:08 PM Rating: Decent
I played EQ about a year ago for couple of months and I liked it a lot but the only problem for me was that everyone said it`s almost impossible to solo in EQ, at high levels at least. Now I haven`t played it nor any other mrpg for a long time and I downloaded the DAoC trial about a week ago and have liked the game a lot! My one character is level 17 already and I feel like it is easier to solo in DAoC than in EQ (at least the low levels). I don`t have any experience of soloing beyond the level 20 in neither of the games so I`m asking that if anyone of you has played EQ too, which one is better for soloing? Thanks in advance :)

When i played DAoC, before i started SWG, i thought it was much easier to grind crafting and combat, i got 60 in Black Smithing in a couple hours, and started my business, as opposed to EQ which in order to start any crafting, you need alot of time, patience, and finance, but then again i played EQ longer so might just be i got tired of it *shrugs*. But, I would say DAoC is easier to grind.

Sorry, never played EQ, but I can assure you that soloing in DAOC at higher levels is not difficult if you have built your toon correctly. My lvl 50 pally solos reds and chain ojs, no prob.
