I'm new to the game and could use a little advice in starting out (Once I get going, I should be good on my own). First things first, I'm going to be playing on Classic (I'll eventually move into either Normal or PvP eventually) and wanted to start a caster, or something close to it. Heck, I'll even play Druid/Warden/Valewalker, Cleric/Friar/Heretic, and Healer/Shaman (Since I always seem to be drawn to classes that have the ability to heal.) What would you all consider a more enjoyable class to play?
(I bet this question gets asked a lot, and I apologize that I happen to be newbie #5686782321 asking the same old question over and over again. Feel free to ignore this post entirely. I'll eventually figure something out)

on classic, shaman is popular, and heretic is useful at damage/healing/utility. Shaman's don't heal much though.
All of albs casters are solid, hibernia only the eldritch is really popular, not that the others are terrible, they just are not grouped quite as often as the eldritch. Midgard, only the runemaster gets groups all the time, but BD's, warlocks and maybe even SM's can be very fun, especially BD's.
But from what you described, I recommend heretic.

Wardens are definitely a fun class, you buff yourself, get end regen at a low level so you can keep doing those weapon styles constantly, just a great class overall. Plus their bubble is the bomb! Solo to your heart's content and groups are easy to find with them too.

ok on off chance folks read this. all 3 have potential for fun lot depends on you.the friends you make along way guild join gotta keep in mind those char running around are people to. i love daoc folks i play with on hib morgan feel like nieghbors some just live closer than others.be nice polite goes long way. then what ever class are learn how play it well be open to creative critism try not complain to much. not to say im not forgiven by my occasional rants ;O). just keep in mind everyone is here trying have fun.lol daoc is down usually im to ashamed my typeing skills to post.but if like try out hib most weekday mornings rvr is slow can spare few hours help out chat in vent ive 15 50 on hib do pretty good on druid 11l6 /bard 9l6 my eld chanter warden ranger are 5l7 ish im terrable on my hero so i wouldnt offer much advice beyond names of heros i know that do ;O).most my toons in Angels of Darkness but zordon/zordz. i aint got no life so i usually play everyday 12 hours or so depending once had stay on 3 days got my nightshade into fins grp.tho those was days took months build a 50. i played a bot up to 50 in a week no pl.things changed lot since then but DAOC is still best player v player game going.and i do have a 80 demonolagist on AoC 50 scrapper blaster controller on CoH. lol okok ive rattled on enough. back to the question try all 3 lil and see look around see if there doing what you wanna be doing ive tryed couple mids 50 healer warrior but after soo long on hib i felt like traitor when rvr with em.
