Ok so I am writing this post with a bit of humility.
My brother and I just reactivated after about 1-2 years of away time. We have been doing some rvring but man we are getting rolled left and right. We usually run Warrior, BD duo hoping for some singles or duo fights and we find some but the loss to win ratio is ugly. We get rolled by single stealthers. My BD is hitting for like 300 -200 WTH and my brother does way worse. Am i missing something? Any constructive comments are welcolme.

Are you using a buffbot? A BD and a warrior should take out any solo stealther.

What server are you on? On a ToA server, getting some Master levels done would help a ton. A bodyguarded caster would destroy any stealther. If you don't have a buffbot, get potions for at least semi-buffing.

And what type of template do you have? For instance, a warrior, even on classic should have 101 con/101 strength/350+HP/capped resists in it. Champion Weapons and Sigil armor may not have been around when you last played, but are easily attainable now.

this game does have a high learning curve. You said you returned, so you probably had some experience before, and most stealthers are tweaked to the max in templates. A high RR one can handle 2 peeps if they are able to take you out fast, as any caster is susceptible to being PA then stunned on the next hit and possibly even killed before you even know what hit you, but a warrior should be putting up a fight against all but the highest RR ones.

We are playing on KAY. Only ML2 on caster and none on Warrior. I have about 11 arties on my BD with +15 spell damage and +20 spell range and lvl5 critchance to spells. My brother is running about 8 arties all the popular ones. We have 20+ resist to all the combat resist. We just do not do the damage. I hit at best 100 damage with my bolt and 120 with my lifetap and he hits like a little girl. I will post the stats on my next post.

okay, sounds like your templates are adequate, although I should mention that 10% is the maximum to melee/magic damage or melee/magic speed or range, so if you have that much, you might be able to remove something to get more hits or whatever else in your template.

You didn't mention anything about buffs.

for a caster, stealths are tough to deal with b/c you can't get range until after they hit you and you may be near death before you know you are hit. Your warrior friend should definitely not be hitting for nothing. Warriors hit as hard as anyone, with the exception of maybe side styles on zerkers.

If you do not have buffs, perhaps switching classes might be better. A shammy is a decent small man team b/c he can shear, disease, dot, heal in an emergency and provide endo.

Yeah we are running a bot, a shammy 1 to me exact we do not however pull him along. He just sits at upland and hangs out. I thought spell and mellee damage bonuses where 20% according to Kort's SC calculator unless they changed that?

I use Kort's also, and am nearly positive they show it capping at 10%, at least in the version I have. It does cap at 10%, so if it shows 20%, it is wrong.

You can even see for yourself when you type /bonuses in game when wearing 20%, it will only show you as 10%.

The two exceptions to this rule are necromancers and animists. The animist bombers, which already have the highest delve in game, have a 25% cap. So do necromancer pets. The reason for this is b/c they are both treated as pets, and although Mythic kind of acknowledges it is not correct, has not fixed it yet. Pets are always different than players.

Well, if you are botted, a warrior should be doing great damage. You may be having problems lag and people who exploit this. I do not play melee toons, so I would be poor in a 1 vs. 1 against an experienced player b/c I would not do run throughs and lag expoits to get side styles off. Bonedancers are great interrupters, and if you can survive the initial hits and kite a bit, they can do solid damage as well. I still don't think it is a great duo combination b/c of lack of speed, but I guess it depends on where you are going. If you are at Bledmeer Bridge most of the time, speed is not much of an issue. Just keep playing together and trying to learn and gain bounty points to eventually get your master levels up. You will love be bodyguarded by your brother's warrior if and when he gets this ability. The new quests supposedly give out RP's and BP's for completing (this ghost keep thing), so that may be a way for you to get some bounty points to spend on Master Levels.

It sounds to me like you have a fairly good understanding of the game, so it probably is just an experience thing where you have to learn what works and what doesn't work.
