Why did the main characters even need Hresvalgr and other dragons to help with Nidhogg? Isnt Midgardsormr supposed to be the king, yet we ride around on his back. Thus wouldnt that means hes higher on he chain of command than Nidhogg, so couldn't he himself has just put an end to that whole thing instead of us having to? I mean he wouldnt be much of a king if he couldnt beat Nidhog.

Also as for the upcoming expansion... Now one thing I hated about Coil is that it had a story, but the content was hard so lots of ppl didnt get to experience that story because of it. HW fixes this by having its endgame raid have a normal mode.. which just about anyone could do and thats where the story was, then the Savage mode which was the hard one with no story but better loot.

Now from what I read on the new expansion the raids will have both Normal and Savage again yet the story will be different across, them thus locking casuals out of experiencing whatever side of the story Savage would show. Why would SE think that was a good idea, when they had the brains to fix that issue in HW?

Except that Midgardsormr's body was nearly killed quite a long time ago, and then we killed what was left when we found it wrapped around that ship in Keeper of the Lake. He's since reincarnated himself but it's going to be a while before he can exert the kind of power he had before. In the mean time, yeah Nidhogg was his child, but at this point all Midgardsormr could do is ask him to stop.... which doesn't seem super likely to work. We enlisted Hraesvelgr's assistance because he's at least almost as strong as Nidhogg himself and that seemed like a more practical solution than a stern talking-to.

Maybe, we'll have to wait and see what he meant by that.
