I spent over 90g on repairs going through MC to get my mount and the pretty helm for the anniversary event. I feel your pain.

I like the expansion as well. I just wish the garrison was modeled based on your race, because my Night Elf Dudu seems out of place in a giant blue and white castle. And I wish the Alliance garrison location wasn't chosen by a moron tactician/architect.

I mean, look at it! Giant trees that basically hug the walls, and you've got hills and crap all around. Enemy archers and spell casters would have free line of sight into the heart of the base, and the trees would allow enemy melee forces to easily scale the walls. I'm sure I'm not the only one who saw this and went "Noooope. No. Hell no." when the Alliance leaders were all "ZOMG, this area is perfect for a base!" At least cut down the damn trees around the base. Or are we trying to blend into the purple foliage with our blue and white castle?

Meanwhile, in Camp Horde, we're situated on a ******* mountain top overlooking a barren landscape. You'd need to be a snow ninja to sneak up on that place.

I agree so much about the architecture. I'm actually playing Alliance now because I simply cannot stand the orc architecture garrison. Give me my own little mini Brill and I'll be happy to be forsaken again.

I wonder though if, much like the farm, the garrison is just another iterative step. Maybe next expansion we get true housing that's customizable. If there is a next expansion. And I'm still alive then.

Meanwhile I do like my blue and white castle. :)
