I'm just curious to see what you all have to say about this. What was the first class/race/faction you played as when you started playing WoW?
Why did you choose that race/class/faction?
What do you think the pros of playing as that race/class/faction as a beginning player are?
What were the cons of playing that class/race/faction?

You know summer is approaching when University of Denver sends out their latest batch of students with surveys.

What kind of crap are they trying to teach that could have real value from data collected from a bunch of gamers?

Triple Posting 101?

Edit: But in seriousness, there's a lot to be learned from gamers. Gamers are a fairly sizable demographic and anyone going into business or marketing could learn a lot about consumers by interacting with them. I don't know what the hell they hope to learn about with the questions they're asking, but with that kind of research, I expect to see something about it on Buzzfeed(or somewhere similar) one of these days. And I'm not even joking.

I wonder if some of these survey monkeys are actually using reverse psychology on us. Like, maybe some of them are studying the average forum-goers behavior when confronted with a tedious questionnaire by a random stranger for the nth time. Perhaps by answering this thread, we've already answered the survey.

THE HORROR! Smiley: eek
