If you're interested in buying the new game Reus (looks like a Black and White type game to me) you can get it for about 28% off if you buy it from GMG and use the code GMG20-GGN5D-FC3NA. It's base 10% off on both Steam and GMG, but you get the 20% off of the 90% cost on top of the 10% if you get from GMG.

GMG also has Deponia for 50% off, but I'm still waiting on a bundle deal of 75% with the second one that I'm sure will happen later this year.

You better go to the Playstation website and change your login otherwise they will be able to purchase games with your account, since you didn't take out or factory reset the hard drive. Or did you?

Factory Reset after deactivating the PS3, and formatted the HDD. I'm not giving anything up for free :P

O.o I got it as a pre-order for like 24.99 or something stupid cheap.

Deponia was part of an indie bundle not to long ago, you could probably find it via steam trade or on CAG if you looked hard enough for cheaper.

KOA Day on GG. I mention because usually there's someone who seems half interested. Pices assume use of elder-geek.com code for 5% off. All items activate on Origin.

Kingdoms of Amalur Collection (inc Dead Kel & Naros DLC) - $7.12
Kingdoms of Amalur (Base) - $5.69
Teeth of Naros DLC - $4.73
Legend of Dead Kel DLC - $4.73

Really, the collection is the real deal hence the only one I bothered linking. Separate DLC are only 50% off and you'd be better off buying the whole collection again than buying missing DLC. I haven't played Dead Kel but I've heard a lot of people say it's very well done, better than the base game and some of the best content DLC they've seen.

Hey cynyck, Steam Weekend Deal is Borderlands 2 for $14.
GET THE HELL OUT! Smiley: eek By definition, if I know about it, the sale is over, but the sale is not over, but I know about it, but . . .

What am I doing here? I should be over on Steam, buying the damn game!

EDIT:

I got so excited, I bought the 4-pack!

No, I didn't, but they have a 4-pack for $40.79, which works out to $10.20 per game code. Anyone interested? I'll buy it and we figure a way for you to get me the 10.20?

Don't get the Psycho Pack, even for $7 it's too much. Wait for it to drop to around $4.

Yeah, I have no interest in the Psycho pack but figured the code was nice for Season Pass for first-time buyers. Steam sale doesn't have SP discounted so if you need it now, now, now you might as well get it cheaper.

Hold on, Season Pass? What is this? I need a Season Pass for what, multiplayer? DLC?

BL2 is $10.88 at GreenManGaming with generic 20% off coupon code GMG20-LLASD-D8WBQ.

Be a better deal for you assuming you don't do a 4-pack buy-in. I think several retailers are running deals on BL2 this weekend due to the Psycho Pack release.

No, season passes are only good for the regular season. You still have to pay extra for post season/playoffs. :D

Really? I guess that's what I get for refusing to buy a game until the price drops to a buck-three-eighty. I'm playing 2010's games for criminey's sake!

I played through BL2's base campaign and it was a solid experience. You can always wait on a deeper sale on the DLC if you're not inclined to double your out-of-pocket cost right out of the gate.

I don't know what the original point was but BL2's SP includes four DLCs.

They're not the first to do this. Saints Row the Third's SP included the three content DLCs and the Nightwing (Bloodwing? Bloodnight? Wingwing?) costumes. I was fine with that since I didn't care much about the costume DLCs. Provided they're up front with what's in it, I'm cool.

The BL2 campaign is a fairly complete experience. I have no issue with a "season pass" that is good for 4 DLC, at a discount from buying them individually. Their DLC is usually fairly decent, too. I'm sure at some point they'll put out a GOTY edition which includes the season pass DLC but you'll probably be waiting a fair amount of time for that.

My ten second review of Last Light: If you enjoyed 2033, you'll enjoy LL. If you wanted to enjoy 2033 but had technical issues, Last Light is much better optimized. If you disliked 2033 because you hate corridor shooters or Russian accents, you ain't going to like Last Light either.

It's essentially more of 2033, just done a bit better. Of course you probably could have guessed that for yourself.

Should work, per their blog.

Code towards the bottom.

Edit: whoops, last letter should be a V not a C. I blame whoever I originally copied it from.
