Good to see Nintendo continues to fail at the Internet....
I never would have guessed there would be high traffic on Christmas Day.
Sucks for kids that got the pokemon games for Christmas as they won't be able to use any of the online features until they update their game and the shop is borked.

Da hell the online features, they're screwed as soon as they save in Luminous City. All that progress for 5 year old Billy, gone.

It really is kind of pathetic at how bad Nintendo handles its website and online features.

Yeah (sorry for quoting whole thread, text is weird on phone it overlaps)
It has been patched but, again, the shop is down, so yeah if they save in Lumiose and exit the game it corrupts the save file.
Seriously Nintendo really borked up here, lots of kids will have gotten a 2DS or 3DS for Christmas and their first impression of the shop is going to be it sucking.
I don't understand companies sometime. Yeah, boosting server resources isn't free I am sure, but isn't making a good impression worth it?
