Power button on keyboardFollow

Any way to disable this stupid thing? I keep pressing it and my computer shuts off.

I've died twice now because of this and I'd rather not go buy a new keyboard if possiable.

You may be able to disable it in the registry, otherwise you can just pop the key off the keyboard, or grab one of these:

http://www.hooleon.com/prod-prot-cover.htm#lockouts

The "hard" version won't let you press the key at all, the "soft version will just make it much harder to accidentally press.

If you system was self built, you should be able to go into the bios and disable it. Not sure about store bought computers.

Ya, it was self-built but I ended up doing it the barbaric way and physically removed the actual key Smiley: grin

Problem solved.
