Looking for a decent laptop (info in post, please help!)Follow

#1 Jun 26 2011 at 2:24 PM Rating: Decent
Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I'm looking to buy a new laptop that will be able to suit the following needs I have: College homework (programming, online classes, typing papers, etc.), random web browsing, video/movie streaming via youtube or netflix, listening to music, playing lower-end games like Minecraft etc. etc. and it must be able to play WoW. I won't be doing raids on the laptop, just for leveling alts and such.. nothing too graphics intensive.

Here's some info on what I'm looking for spec-wise:
3-4 gb ram
At least 300gb hard drive, 500gb would be nice
Intel i3 or i5 processor is preferred
15.6 inch screen
Compatible with wireless-N router
Webcam is optional, doubt I'd ever use it
At least 2-3 usb ports

I'm sitting on the price range of about $550-$600 max.
Please let me know if any of you can find some good deals, thanks!

-I might have posted this in the wrong place, sorry.

I own an Acer Ferrari One netbook and it was the first releases of the limited ferrari series by Acer. I bought it two years ago and I have no problems with it. Since I had a hard time searching for a store online, here is a link to its specifications and it is within your budget. I am 100% sure it suits your needs. The only downside is it does not have a dvd-rom, but nowadays its not that a necessity. So check it out. By the way, I also own an ASUS K40IJ series and an MSI Wind Touch, so if you need some specs I can help you with that if in case you are still in limbo. :) Cheers!
