Tto be perfectly honest, $600 is low to find a gaming class laptop. Your midrange gaming laptops start at the $800 range and go up from there.

As for video cards, Avoid the integrated intel video cards like the plague. You want a dedicated Nvidia or ATI cardd, with as much video ram as you can find. Play around with this link: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html to see what is out there. Uncheck "professional and CAD video cards" and set it to "notebook only". that will give you a better idea of where a given video card falls on the list.

I picked up a Toshiba Satellite E205 for about 700$ a while back. It came with some sort of Intel/NETGEAR box that lets me mirror my screen wirelessly to my T.V. Anyways, it is fairly decent for the cost. Intel i5 2.53 GHz, Nvidia GeForce card of some sort, 4G of DDR3 RAM which is expandable to 8G, and a 500g hard drive. The screen is a little small at 14" but it is suitable for any games I play. It is also WiMax ready and a fully back lit keyboard which is sorta cool.

I can't find the exact link to what I got, but this is a similar package deal, albeit more expensive.
