So I bought an iPad2 the other day and have been having fun with it. I've bought some apps and an album, and didn't keep track on how much I've spent.
So I went to my credit card's site to check my balance. It shows apple has not yet charged me and it has been 3 days for the apps and I bought the album yesterday.

Anyone know the amount/when apple charges go through? It is annoying to know it is going to get charged, but has not yet. I'm stuck not buying stuff until I know if I'll have the funds or not...

Apple products are made of ground up baby orphans. You should feel bad for owning one and supporting steve jobs, who is also allegedly a necromancer.

I know, but there are a few apps that I wanted to use and are only on the iPad's OS.

Apple typically bills once or twice a week for iTunes purchases. If they billed me for every purchase I made, I'd be getting billed 3-6 times a day on the rare occasion that I find a few apps and a book/album I want to buy on the same day, which would get ridiculously annoying.

Edit: I hope you like your iPad 2; I'm still in love with my first gen iPad.

It is pretty awesome. Star Walk is pretty awesome for $5. I bought it for some of the art apps, Sketch Book Pro is neat and the new(? its free atm for a limited time) 123D Sculpt apps is different yet fun.

And I do understand the the charging system now, being charged many times a day would be silly. I was finally charged either late Wed or sometime yesterday, so all is good. I don't feel like I got away will apps and music XD

I still don't get the appeal of buying an over sized smart phone that can't make phone calls.

I don't want a phone, and smart phones (or iTouch) is jut to small for my fat fingers.

I've been using my ipad2 for entertainment reasons. I could turn my ps3 on and my big TV, but the temp in my room would go up 10+ degrees.
It has some neat art apps, itouch/smart phone would be too small imo to use the apps.

That's fine, some people just don't get the concept. Maybe one day you'll use one and you'll understand.
