If anything as long as they stay with the story all they have to worry about is teh action, when the new transformer cartoon came out i though it was gonna be all cool action but it sucked, just needs good action.

... if you are refering to Transformers: Armada, I think it is the greatest travesty to an American cult cartoon ever!!

The soundtrack to the original transformers movie is a work of art. The main theme by the band lion is to cool for school. As for the movie itself i didnt mind it except for the fact that every Transformer i liked was killed but somehow Grimlock made it out unscathed.

The new animated series is bunk, the transformers beast wars series wasnt to bad, and the idea of a live action Transformers scares me with its likelyhood of crapiness.

C'mon... can this actually work?? And can they call a couple actors talking to themselves in front of a blue screen "live-action"?? Should've just made it a good "american" animated movie, Dreamworks however might be able to pull this off... I've got my fingers crossed.

YOU GOT THE TOUCH!!!

lol I forget how the rest of the song goes, but if you want to hear a really badass cover of it check out the movie Boogienights with Mark Walberg. Thats right the part of the movie when he is trying to make a record, he does a great cover of this timeless classic!

Could be worse, they could make it into a Japanese Anime. Oh wait, they did! Geez, that one is almost as bad as Dragonball Z, Pokemon, and Yugio. I can't even believe someone would call it an anime.

The first movie wasn't bad, the soundtrack was great though. I just got a little irritated over how many of my favorite transformers bought it. Of course, I was a kid back when it first came out and I was pretty into Transformers. So, it hit kind of hard.

...I would agree. Wasn't there a song in the movie done by Weird Al Yankovic?

Sadly, I still have the entire movie (and soundtrack) memorized. Been a while since I've watched it, but I have the DVD.

Yes, it's called "Dare to be Stupid" and is played during the celebration with the Junkyons. Weird song, and really weird video by Weird Al. (No pun inten...ah who am I kiddin'?)

Why do they have to keep ruining a good thing....Transformers was so damn good back in the day, and so was the movie (still watch the movie to this day)

So this will be what, a bunch of cgi with a story that centers around the "human" factor in the Transformers story? This is a damn shame.
