Wireless NetworkindFollow

This ia a question for anyone with a good understanding of home networking. As of Monday, I am having cable internet installed. It will be installed on my office computer, and then I am networking it to my bedroom computer (via 802.11g). I have my PS2/XBOX on a crossover cable to my bedroom PC, and use Internet Connection sharing to share my dail-up connection. My question is, if I am playing games on my PS2/XBOX, which the connection is going through the crossover cable, then through a wireless connection, then finally to the host computer with the cable connection, will it create too much lag?

Very possible, because of the wireless.

There's no possible way for anyone to tell without knowing the router and cards.

I figured it won't make a difference, because the cable is 2.8Mbps, the wireless D-Link cards are 54Mbps, and the Ethernet is 100Mbps. So I assume if the wireless connection is good, it would be fine.

Wireless isn't going to hurt you at all. Should be plenty fast. Much faster than dial-up at any rate.
