Weight Loss = BSFollow

Now before i start ******** i would like to say this.....i'm sorry for *********

Being a little over weight myself and not afraid to say it, i would like to say that North America has made weight loss really really hard for people. People complain that people in this day and age are getting fatter every year...and they wonder why, well i say that ********* They make it seem they care to give a damn by releasing product after product for weight loss. Sure they may release new helpful products, but they fail to realize the prices they put on it... hhhhmmmm they would like to help individuals with there weight problem, but why not make profit it? Companies making these weight loss products should be ashamed. While weight loss products raise their prices for a person who wants something for their selfesteam and to live a longer life, Mcdonalds and other fast food chains decide to lower theirs, and they wonder why North American's are geting fatter. Interesting isn't it. Sure the may release there Veggie line up, but you have to put out more money, and for something that taste like **** anyways. Instead of buying something disgusting and very expensive, people decide to buy the happy meal because it's cheap and to some people good. Companies say they want to help and maybe they do..but before the think what they want they may want to think about the pricing and the well being of their customers. Which brings me to Doctors. Almost the same thing. There is operations that can help with weight loss. "Thats great!!! yay...whats that? oh so you need a 50 thousand dollar deposit first ok one sec just let me pull out my money...oh damn i don't have any because spent it on things that keep me alive". And what if people have families, there is no way in hell that a person that has a family could ever afford these operations. Doctors also recemend some medicines... again with the money thing. Sure there may be like 50 tablets in a bottle, but you would probably have to take a pill everytime before you eat...oh and with over weight people, they may eat a lot, so they throw all their money into these pills and it might not even work. North America has disgusted me with the lies and diseat. They want to help ****************** if they wanted to help they would release products cheaper or doctors would make their help cheaper. While some fat cat is swimming around in their money...some over weight person is having a heart attack.....North America makes me sick!

Exercise is free. So is willpower.

Try them sometime.

Um... Just don't eat that crap. Instead of playing video games all day, visit a gym or sports club. If you can't afford a membership, take a jog or run.

Exercise is free and so is willpower...i know this, but gain some weight and lets see if you say the same thing after words...and how do any over weight people have any willpower left after there willpower is crushed by the weight of the world. Their lucky enough to have enough willpower to get up in the morning. Next time you say something like that....think about what over weight people have to go through... nothing like walking down the street only to get laughed at by some random person who has no heart.

i'm not just saying this for me....i'm saying over all

I'm not exactly scrawny myself. Not obese, but got a fair bit of beer belly on me.

If the opinions of others bothers you that much, just go jogging late at night when nobody is around. Problem solved.

Instead of driving two blocks to your local BK or McDonalds, get your lazy *** up and walk. It's not far, and does the world of good.

There are a ton of tiny things that help lose weight. Stop supersizing every damned thing. Drink diet instead of regular soda. A bag of baby carrots costs the same as a candy bar, snack on those instead.

And don't give me that "overweight people have no wilpower" BS. Like I said, I'm not exactly thin and I'm a stubborn *******.

A bit off subject but the same goes for people trying to quit smoking. Have you seen the prices for all those patches and pills? I mean damn why does an off brand pack of cigs cost $1.50 and a box of patches cost $60? Just something to ponder.

ok, my 2 cents. i was a skinny guy in highschool. people teased my and pushed me around. in college, i gained a bit of weight. then i started exercising 'cause " I " was sick of being tubby, and sick of the way i looked and felt. i also quit smoking after 8 years because quit frankly... " I " was sick of not being able to run for more than 10 seconds without collapsing. sick of smelling like smoke - house, car, clothes. youve got to stop blaming others for "your" problems. no one is putting food in your mouth, or making you smoke (if you do), or making you buy weight-loss products. those are for people who have no will power. if you want to do something about it, get up and start now... for yourself.

And just how much will power do you think people suffering from depression have huh? Absolutly none!

A lot people with depression tend to over eat and smoke. Poverty can also play a role in this. If you have to pay for a theropist and zoloft that dosent leave much for expensive smoking patches. And if you are on meds for depression taking diet pills is out of the question.

I am definetly not thin.
I did gain weight after a surgery in a rush (20kg in 6weeks)
and I am still struggelin 1 1/2 years later to drop it back off.

Sometimes, you can´t exercise. Be it for health or mental reasons.

But I finally found my rythym, trampling 45min away in the gym on the base 3 times a week plus got me the Weight Watchers CD.

And guess what?
For 50€ alltogether I lost 6kg in 6 weeks and it is still dropping.

You just have to find your own way to lose weight.
The "just exercise you lazy bum" answer is not correct in 99% of the time.

And the next time I am going to read that someone advises an overweight person to jogg, I am going to smack them - hard.

Jogging is bad for you if you are really overweight. Try walking, try swimming, try cycling.

And on the NA subject... well, I guess that making the healthy food more expensive than the junk is not helping with the weight problems of the ppl that can´t afford, to pay the extra dollars.

Eat less. It's not rocket science.

Exersice has little to nothing to do with weight loss.

why does an off brand pack of cigs cost $1.50

Where the hell is this, North Carolina??

I can't get a pack of roll my own ciggerettes for less than five bucks.

1. Paragraphs are your friend, so use them.

2. If you are a fat lards *** then buy some sneakers and go jogging.

Start at 1/2 a mile per day for a week, move up to 1 mile a day for a couple of weeks and slowly build it up to 5 miles a day.

I assure you that when you are running 5 miles a day , no matter what you eat you will be slim.

2. LEARN TO COOK YOU LAZY TW*T, i can knock up a cheap, healthy and extremely tasty chicken dish with less than 1% fat and a fraction of the calories of the crap ready meals at Wallmart.

there is no excuse for being fat so take some f*cking responcibity!

actually exercise does have something to do with weight loss. it creates a higher metabolism so your body can burn off excess calories. and if you are afraid of being raped, aerobics in your house will work. and i used to suffer from depression - the reason i started smoking and - duh! eating in college. still get that way sometimes in winter, but not as bad as i used to. why? not because i have a good therapist! not because i stuff my face with drugs! because i have "will power" to quit smoking, quit over eating and exercise. i also started meditating years ago, so it helps me to "accept things" that dont work my way. and gives me the power to change whatever i can. you should save some money and try buying a book on the subject. it may help you. no one here is trying to make anyone feel worse than they already do. but those who refuse to take advise are the same ones who keep making excuses for their lifestyles. you can only help yourself.

If you want to wallow in self pity go ahead, just remember it is YOUR self pity not mine.

Untill YOU are prepared to make an effort nothing will change, if that is too hard an concept for you to grasp then tough.

If i pat you on the back and say yeah you so let down by socieity , so hard done by here have a twinky on me. I am doing both of us a disservice, you will get fatter and believe it is not your fault.

heres the deal IT IS YOUR FAULT if you don't like it get off your **** and do something I DARE YOU!

If you do in 6 months you will be healtier and even if you still hate me for it, i won't care because i will have helped you achive what needed to be achived.

the end justifies the means, besides i have no time for pissy whiners who blame everone else but themselves.

*edit thank you for using paragraphs in your reply it made reading far easier. <no sarcasm honest thanks.>

No, really it has almost nothing to do with weight loss.

At 200 pounds you burn about 150 calories if you run a mile.

If you ran a mile a day for a year you'd loose 10 pounds.

Or you could eat less and loose 100 pounds in a year.

jeebus. just eating less won´t work.

your body gets used to it pretty fast.
thats why most diets have the yoyo effect.
you need to eat different.

and stop the jogging ******** already!
if you are really overweight that will kill your knees, your back and so on!
fast walking it is, not running!

Ummm well let's see.

3500 calories = 1 pound
150 calories x 365 days= 54750 Calories
54750 Calories / 3500 = 15.64 pounds

Geez at least use a calculator when you have absolutely no idea what your talking about. Maybe someone will actually believe you put some effort into your statement.
And just how many people that are 100 pounds overweight can go out and run a mile?
And how many people who weigh 200 pounds need to lose 100 FRIGGIN pounds?!?!

100 pounds = 350,000 calories
350000 calories / 365 days = 958.9 calories per day dropped from diet.

Have your ever seen what an almost 1000 calorie per day diet restriction can do to most people? It's usually restricted to certain individuals with extreme obesity (i.e. BMI >30) or overweight individuals with medical complicatons (i.e. diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. In addition they need to be monitored by a Physician.
That being said, you got your education via MTV right? Try this link. Maybe it will help.[link=http://www.niddk.nih.gov/health/nutrit/nutrit.htm]
