Oh, Underworld 2. I was thinking they already did a Ultima Underworld 2. They do need to do a remake, but they haven't made a decent game in years.

Meh. Not really looking forward to a part-2 anyway. I guess I wasn't all that impressed with the first one; it was good, but not great. Sequels to horror flicks usually tend to be just half-assed, franchise-milking, cash-grabs anyway. ie a studio sees that they can make some money off a movie so they figure they'll continue to ***** the name out to whatever fans the original film picked up until all the creativity and innovation has been sucked out of it and everyone ends up hating it.

That is true, but Underworld just appeals to me in the way the cereal isle appeals to kids. lol

Thanks Mumben!

I guess I'm in with the whole it was good, not great crowd... it took way too much (special effects wise) from a movie that was made three years ago... Please don't tell me you don't see the similarities! PLEASE TELL ME!! Oh well, I guess bullet-time never gets old or Max Payne would have died long ago....

Am I making any sense here, lol?! I'll probably see it in theater depending on when it comes out, cause the first had a pretty good story (tho it did seem a bit like a typcal horror movie one...). I especially liked the part at the end when *SPOILER* the guy gets his head cut in half!! I guess he got what he deserved :P

I don't really think that Underworld really fits the horror genre. Also, I don't remember there being a bullet time other than the first second of the subway shoot out and when Selene (main character) shoots Lucian in the apartment/elevator scene. I honostly wasn't impressed by the special effects but overall it was still a good movie.

I liked Underworld, until the very end, when the bad guy was finished off, and it was cheesy beyond belife. Went from a 7 out of 10, to 5 out of 10 in one fell swoop. Blah.

Underworld was a terrible film that has no value at all, in my opinion. There is no reason I can see why this film will be remembered ten or even five years from now.
