Well, I would have to say A.V.P. will be better, seeing as how I had no idea that they were even making a Blade 3, much less that it is coming out Friday. God, have these people ever heard of publicity??
None of the Blade movies have had much publicity. That hasn't stopped people from turning out in droves to see them.
I'll be watching BOTH movies, though which comes first will depend heavily on which one is scheduled at my fave theater first. No more ****** theaters for me.
I made the mistake of going to 'watch' I, Robot at a bad theater because it was the only one close that had a good start time. The seat was so bad that I managed to bruise a rib on the armrest when Will Smith's dazzling acting put me to sleep and I draped over the damn thing like a limp dishrag for 1.5 hours until the movie ended.

Blade Trinity doesn't come out until 10Dec2004. Thats why you haven't heard anything about it. The only movies that come out this week are AvP, Princes Diaries 2 ~shiver~, and Yu-Gi-Oh ~runs screaming from the room~.
I would keep an eye out for Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence on 17Sept2004.

Blade 2 was kind of ******. That whole thing is pretty played out at this point. Not that Aliens aren't but Preadtor is still fairly fresh.

the most redeaming part of it was that they had the guy who plays "Cat" from "Red Dwarf" in it.

AVP will be one of the worst movies ever released. Not only does it look terrible but it's so played out already. Didn't we already see Mothra VS. Godzilla back in the 60's?

Dunno just waiting to hear some reviews before i start judging. I dont expect movie genius but i am hoping they do something better than Freddyvs Jason or Godzilla VS King Kong.

Yep, I am just hoping for a fun movie. It doesn't have to be Oscar material. In fact I prefer it isn't since the only good movies that won an oscar are the LOTR movies. It just needs to be a fun movie.
i think the Preditors will win... if were on that subject, any way if they DO happen to get beat down, thewy could always use there self destruct stuff...

Alien without Ripley is just not the same so AVP is something that I'll probably see on pay-per-view or cable when it comes out.
On the plus side, I'll be getting my very own face hugger for my birthday soon. Yay for plushie face huggers.

Actually, according to some of the flicks on the website, it might be pretty good. Apparently, there are five predators sent to this temple to complete a manhood ritual. Which involves surviving the predators and a bunch of humans walks right into the middle of the fight. The nice part where you see the predators on the temple with aliens swarming over them, is when things go wrong and one of the predators sets off his self destruct. So far, it looks pretty good. Then you have the guy who did Resident Evil. So, it might be better than everyone thinks. Oh, well. I have a free coupon to it for replacing my VHS copy of the original Predator.
