The fact that i have to use this crazy ******* as a measuring stick in order to make G.W. look like a calm rational being, who thinks clearly and has policy that seems normal, speaks volumes for how bad a president Dubya actually is.

I like Bush, and will be voting for him in November.

Retarded? Lets see *you* get a post grad degree from Harvard Business School.

Do I like everything he does? No.. but he is a man of conviction and has a backbone, which is what this country needs.

Im not doing so shabby in University right now, of course ive paid for it all myself with no loans or help from the parents.

Bush cant say that much, also he got let in when his SAT were at or below 1200 when average person admitted to the Harvard had 1400 at the time. Guess how that happened?

As for conviction, it is a good quality to have, only if you have the right path. The fact that Bush is willing to follow through has never been questioned but I think some of the things he has "followed through" and "stayed the course" on are morally apprehensible.

the only nuking that would happen in this country is if Kerry became president. He doesnt support the army or want to financially aid it. And he lets his wife do all his talking for him.... no foreign country would see us as a strong nation at all. So Kerry = death of nation. ^^

OMG, bush is terribly stupid.
Did you see that thing on the news?

he said something like this:
"Terriorists are finding new was to dig for information, and so are we. Terrorists are finding different ways to attack america, and so are we."
Now, thats stupid.

Besides, didn't bush go to Yale?

Only a republican could possibly believe:
-remember that wimpy, inept, one-term president? Hey lets elect his son!
-that true amaricans are absolutely against stem-cell research, teaching evolution, fluoridated water or, basically, and post 19th century advande in science.
-that allowing gays to wed would 'damage the sanctity of marriage' any more than the unstable, divorce-prone, wiered-out, freaked up or wacked-out 'regular' ones we have now.
-with unemploy ment soaring, the economy in a nosedive, bin laden still at large, and a new mideastern vietnam on our hands, that it's time to stay the course.
-that what happens in Iraq, stays in iraq.
-dissenting opinions are every American's sacred right...as long as it's in a free speech zone, 47 blocks form the event where no one can hear it.
-lying about ill-gotten sex-impeachable *******
lying about an ill-conceived war- FOUR MORE YEARS!

Not to mention he f'ed up my life forever cause of his crappy school program. You can only get money if your students are getting good grades. THE SCHOOLS F'ING NEED MONEY TO TEACH! WITHOUT MONEY, ARE GRADES WILL ONLY DROP, MAKING US GET LESS MONEY, SO WE ONLY GET F'ING STUPIDER!! ARg! (i'm in highschool)

well, I don't really like kerry either though...
only a democrat could possibly believe:
-WMDs?-no big deal. SUV's- end of life as we know it
thats all I got, but thats still pretty much true...

and have you noticed, kerry never has slung mud at bush. Bush flings every piece of crap that comes out of his *** at kerry.
Like that law to protect pregant women, Lacie peterson law or soemthing like that, there was a law that was almost excatly like that already going thru the house and senate, thats why he didn't vote on the other one!!

/em mutters discontentedly

I hope that nader finds bin laden a few days before the election, just to make everyone mad...

I believe the quote is actually "Terrorist never stop looking for new ways to harm our country and neither do we." If you're going to smash a president, at least get the quote mildly close.

Quote:
-with unemploy ment soaring, the economy in a nosedive,

Get a clue it hasn't been that bad since immediatly following. 9/11. The economy might not be growing in leaps in bounds right now but it's certainly not in a nose dive.

Last I checked he wasn't to happy with those either. It's just trying to take on something like divorce would be like trying to move a mountain with a spoon.

Quote:
-that what happens in Iraq, stays in iraq.

He didn't believe that. That's why he invaded Iraq. He was afraid of what might come out.

ummm... are you really that delusional and don't you ever watch the news?

Hmm... I don't believe you can get "stupider" I think you can not get smarter but I have yet to see anyone get "stupider" as they grow older. (I'm going into highschool this year)

Get a clue or shut up. Pick one. I don't care which.

You haven't even entered high school yet, and you think you know anything about politics?
I do agree, however, that the use of "F'in" and "ARE" instead of "our" does make him appear to be unintelligent.

Bush, Kerry... it wont make a difference.

Both support the PATRIOT Act. Both support the Iraq war, & plan to keep the door open for more illegal & unconstitutional wars. Both are statists who wish to centralize power in the federal government, specifically the executive wing. Both support the mandatory conscription (slavery) of American citizens, as well as the continued taxation (robbery) of our income. Both support the continued assault on our constitutional rights.

Therefore, to the bushies out there: Your agenda will still be down-pat if Kerry gets elected. Don't worry. To the Kerry voters (aka the "anybody but Bush" crowd): Voting for Kerry will not change a thing.

However, for those with a genuinely skeptical mind, & who do not trust the government to baby-sit their every need: Check out Michael Badnarik, Libertarian Party presidential candidate. You can read his platform & campaign information here.

Just some facts for those who are obviously misinformed and unpatriotic enough to actually care about the facts of the people we are about to elect as President of our country.

Bush was born in New Haven, Connecticut, grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas. He earned a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1968, then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard for 6 years with 1 year of employment deferment while his unit was being redesignated from a national defense unit to a training unit after Vietnam ended. He then earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975.

Kerry was born in Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Colorado, grew up in a Swiss boarding school and several others in the New Hampshire, Mashachusetts area. He earned a Political Science B.S. at Yale University in 1966 then attempted to apply for Harvard University but was turned down and was drafted to serve in Vietnam where he served as a Damage Control Officer aboard the Frigate USS Gridley. He then requested to transfer to Coastal Division 14 to serve on non-combatant transport swift boats. These swift boats were later redesignated as patrol boats (PCF), outfitted for combat and Kerry was transfered to Coastal Division 11 then 13 where he saw 4 months of limited transport combat before opting to end his tour early from controversal combat wounds. All of Kerry's combat awards are recieved after he leaves Vietnam. He then joined the Vietnam Veteran's Against the War where he made his controversal statements of war crimes perpetrated by American Armed Forces in Vietnam in the Senate in 1971. He received a law degree from Boston College in 1976.

Okay where to start on your take on Kerry

1. First he enlisted. He wasnt Drafted, he was afraid of being drafted though.

2.Mashachusetts should be spelled Massachusetts

3.Kerry was on Gridley but opts for Swift Boat to get promotion within 16 days of taking command of PCF-44 he experiences combat and takes injury. 22 days later combat again where he and 5 man crew take out a machine gun nest. Doing 18 missions in 48 days they experience 10 fire fights in 8 days.

4.Kerry did use a clause in which a soldier who had been wounded 3 times could be transferred out of combat duty. It was kinda shady but man if you got the chance to get out of 'Nam wouldnt you have taken it.

5.I looked for a bit but couldnt find any info on him trying to get into Harvard. He did try to get permission to "study abroad" but was denied.

Now to G.W. Bush

1. Got 1206 on SAT's but was allowed into Yale in which a 1400+ SAT score was needed for entry because of policy at time that gave preferential treatment to family members of alumni.

2. Joined F-102 squadron which was being phased out 2 years before his time in the guard was to end. Once Phase out began he stopped flying.

3. Transferred to Air Reserve Personel Center. Since all Bush medical records were out of date the ARPC requested a physical to see if he was still fit to fly. Bush didnt show up and was classified AWOL and a non locatee.

4. Consistently failed to meet standards of training and participation with Texas Air National Guard.

5.I really tried to find out Dubyas grades for Yale and Harvard but couldnt find the numbers, just mentions that Yale was mediocre and Harvard was below par.

In the end i dont think either are shining examples of military service. Kerry signed up for a slack job but ended up seeing action. He got shot at and shot back, killed people, etc all the usual war stuff. Now when he got a chance to get out early he took it.

Now Bush signed up for duty with Air National Guard to keep out of Vietnam and barely served. He had an extremely poor record and it is likely that if it were not for family connections he would have been in a world of trouble.

Edit- of course my original post was an attack on President Bush's various policies not on his or Kerry's education or military service so let it go.. If you wanna debate Georges new medicare policy which takes effect in 2006 which gives money to Drug companies or his hanging out and taking advice on Energy policy with heads of Corporations that own power systems, or his pulling out of all middle east peace talks in 2001 and the break down of mid east peace process soon after or his new sex ed policy which only talks abstinence and nothing else i will be happy.

Or just plain stupid stuff he has said that makes no sense.

I think I know a little about politics because I watch the news, read political/current event books, and try to stay in tune with what's going on in the world. Just because I've been in middle school (bleh) doesn't mean I don't care about what's happening in the world, but you're right, I will be the first to admit there are a lot of people who know alot more than me.
