Whats the ending for the Village?Follow

Whats the ending for the movie: "The Village"? I really want to know, you'll probably tell me to go to the nearest Theater and go see the movie. I'm just lazy, and don't want to waste my money if the monster,(if is even, some reviewers said that it was human), is stupid.

I just went throuth this with someone who refused to see it because she hates freaky movies. So I told her what it was about.

The Village itself is set in Late 1800s atmosphere where no-one is allowed to go beyond the borders because of the "Creatures" in the woods that they say they have an Agreement with.

Turns out at the End of the Movie, that it is really modern times, and the Village Elders were part of a Trauma Support group who have each lost a loved one to Violent Crime. So they all aggree to leave society and move to the boonies to start their own community because they Hate modern Society and believe it is Evil. So they Make Up the monsters to scare their childeren so thay will never leave the village and find out that there is a real world out there that they have decided is so horrible. They make Monster Costumes and one retarted guy finds one and runs around scaring everyone believing a real monster is there to protest their presence in the Woods.
