Good afternoon,
I have been reading these boards for awhile and know a few of you that are on here (met in the game).
Things at my job are a tad rocky at the moment and I do not know if I will be employed in the coming weeks. I have always wanted to jump on the entrepreneur path and open my own drafting and design business.
As I am new to this and do not know where to start I was wondering if some of you could give me some pointers as to what/how I should go about building a clientele. Maybe some of you may require some of the things that I do. If that is the case then GREAT I can email you my contact information.
I currently am still doing all the drawings/drafting for my previous employer and this is what made me think of opening my own business.
I am currently experienced with electrical schematics, piping drawings, 2 dimensional drawings, 3 dimensional drawings, detailed spatial planning’s of various rooms, fabrication drawings, etc.
So what tips can you give me on building a clientele to bring business in? I am currently in the process of putting a portfolio together with some various work that I have done.
Would any of you need any of these services?
Any information that you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated.
