Is it too exasperatingly difficult to go on a message board and have a smart well thought out converstation with others to comprehend and have a better understanding of the situation? Why does someone always have to talk about someones mom/dad, intelligence or lack there of, etc. Some of the Users here give great insight like Smash and then some just.. well make me lose hope in humans ever maturing.

The word you want is insight.

Incite is what one does to turn a peaceful protest into a riot.

Have you read smash's posts?

Have you read smash's posts?

I'll ask what you mean by this first so I don't make any assumption in my response.

yes i know "insight", i was in the last minutes of class and the bell was ringing didnt think much lol, yeah smash does have some awful comments but as a whole i think his good points outweigh his bad.I did not mean to sound, condescending or pretentious and all i am saying is that it would be nice not to have to worry about getting told to #%#k off for your thoughts.

The thing I found funny about your original post, seyasuke, is that Smash is usually the first person to resort to bashing the intelligence of other posters.

Smash is usually the first person to resort to bashing the intelligence of other posters.

To his credit he almost always annihilates the cogent portions of their arguments as well.

For the most part I don't appreciate ad hom attacks, but I've been spanked by him once, and for the most part, I deserved it.

basically, smash = intelligent remark + F off,
most others = dimwit remark + F off, at least he makes a point, lol.

/nod. It's pretty sad how many ppl resort to flaming someone if they dont agree. And it ruins the post when you have a great topic going on, and 2 ppl are posting within it bashing each other and anyone who disagrees with THEIR point of view.

But then again, you can always tell those who actually have their wis stat pretty high up from those who really need to work on it by their comments alone. ;)

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Alla felt the need to separate the OOOT (original out of topic), now called the Asylum from you delicate flowers here in the Sandbox (sometimes called OOT).

I prefer to weaken the posters with flaming first. Why waste time argueing points if they can't defend themselves against a little GFY?

you delicate flowers

Some of us flowers are in desperate need of a good plucking.

For the most part, I think that's just subjective. As a relative newcomer to these forums, from my perspective, what I usually see is him jumping all over someone's sh*t with the fervor of a forum troll and claiming statements as facts that he doesn't bother to back up. Then he declares whoever he's talking to to be a moron. Then he pretends he just won the fight of the century and expects everyone to kiss his ***, which most people around here seem happy to do. Maybe that kind of thing is what makes people popular on these forums but pardon me for not being impressed.

Anyway, I know this is likely to just be followed by flames and down-rates (I'm sure I deserve it), so I'll just go ahead and STFU now. heh.

No, incite was correct. Just more clever than you thought.

Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

If you want to catch Smash with truely intelligent discussion, you need to catch him when he's not vomiting from the sheer stupidity of threads like this.
