It's a giveaway!

Torwards the end of Spetember, I will be pulling 3 names at random from the list (multiple machine users will not be eligable more then once) and awarding prizes! I figured, hey, I started this team, I'll do what I want.

So I will buy the winners, one of three things (my choice):

1: A months worth of premium (if you don't already have it).

2: A snazzy *** Fridge Magnet from the Alla store. (Winners choice)

3: A most radical "Who kamped my karma" Kalander!

On to the rules!

1: Must be an Allakhazam poster!
2: Must have completed a WU (Work Unit)

If I don't see your name on the list when I draw the names, you don't get squat! So make sure you are running Folding@Home for Allakhazam Team #85020! Smiley: grin

Weeeeell, of course I'd love to win something, but I didn't want to sound like the jerk who only wants to win. Smiley: lol I did, however, peruse the fridge magnent link to see which one I would pick.

Truth is, my name is hardly ever picked in a drawing, so I didn't figure my luck would change on this one. Smiley: lol

It all depends on when I draw them, what position your name is in. I went from 34th to 23rd since the last time I post Positions.

I'm going to use the highly scientific method of having the woman pick a number between 1 and 158. It could be you.

ask 100 random people to pick a number between 1 - 156 you will have very few at the lower ends and higher ends and a vast majority of the numbers will fall in the remaining 80% middle section of the numbers.

it is human nature to try to appear random. so those who are at the top of the performance chart and those at the bottom will be fubar when it comes to the "random" drawing along those lines.

Then all I can say is "be in the middle".

I gotcha.

I was assuming Kae would number peices of paper and stick them in a hat or something and have her pull some out.

that would work, or just a RNG on it as that would work too.

That's really weird because I checked the team statistics from my PS3 on Tuesday (late) night.

Ok, here's the deal.

Looks like the F@H site is down until 12pm PST bah. I find it strangely funny that I can complete a 5000 frame WU in about 20 hours and it takes close to 4 days to complete a 1500 frame WU...strange stuff...strange stuff...

i supose that it all has to do with content of the WU. may be smaller in size, but at the same time maybe it is more complex i have no clue what im talking about just ignore the rambling of a mad man.
