My brother will probably drag me to Saw IV.

This Friday, though, my husband and I are going to see 30 Days of Night. I'm excited about this one. It looks cool.

Yes, I'm glad my husband hasn't seen that one, since he works nights. I have a feeling that if he realized how scary this movie could potentially be, he wouldn't be so happy about taking me to see it.

My wife hates horror movies, or anything that could be potentially scary, which means I rarely get to see any horror movies... so I think I'll have to go see 30 Days of Night by myself or with some friends, the movie looks awesome.

I live with my parents, and my mother is the same way(I always have to watch the movie in other parts of the house, where see can't she or hear it >.>). I will be taking one of my younger brothers with me to 30 Days of Nights. He enjoys "scary"/horror movies just as much as i do.

That's what I'm like. However, having my date hanging off of me in the theatre has always been enough reason to suffer through them.

We're married. He doesn't need a scary movie to get me in the sack anymore.

The first Saw movie was amazing, IMHO. It was all set in the one trap, and hardly anything was explained. As the movie went on you thought you understood everything, then BAM!!! the twist smacks you in the face, hard. The art style was very fitting, and the gore was done very well; not too much, and not too little.

The second Saw was the "worst" one, but it was still fairly good. It explained a little more of Jigsaw, although it was pretty obvious that Amanda was working with Jigsaw (spoiler)

Saw 3, despite the mixed reviews, was really good, albeit different than the first two. The complexity of it all rocked, and the acting was good (for the most part) There was more gore in this film, but still nothing too terrible.

All in all, I love the Saw series, and I have high hopes for the new one(s). I think that as long as they remain good movies I'll watch as many as they come out with, and that's what I've come to expect from the creators.

I watched the first Saw and hated it.
I was stupid enough to buy the movie instead of rent it, and I put the disk in the microwave.

I really don't see how anyone could enjoy that movie.

It's all subjective. For example, many people like sports movies, or romantic comedies. I detest those movies, and I don't really know why people like them.

But they keep making them! Even if they aren't direct sequels, they're all the same to me.

So to the people complaining about Saw and horror movies, people like me like them, so really there's no reason to say "Saw sux lol"

I don't really know what to think of the saw movies.

I definitely wouldn't say that I am a fan of them... But I have to see them. It's a weird relationship. Although, I did walk out of the third saw movie saying "that was clever."

You should check out the original Battle Royale or the manga version of it. The sequel was good too but it had too much preachy political bullsh*t in the plot line.

I don't want to be lectured about a country's foreign policies while I'm watching angsty Japanese teenagers fight each other to the death.

I <3 blood and gore also. . . But unless the story becomes EPIC (looking online, there might be a 5th ._.) in horror movies, I don't think they are that good.

I'm just more shocked that they have made a sequel every year, in the last few years.

The same reason there are a bunch of crappy sequels to movies/tv shows that had their piece. They know people will watch it regardless of it being crap.

the sad truth.

The 1st one was ~ok~.

The other 2. . . lame, only went to seem them because I was with a gang of friends.

Not this year.

No, I'll catch them at the bar afterwards.

Saw the first one, didn't like it.
Saw the second one, it was good, but it still lacked.
Saw the third one, that one was great. They ended it there.
Then all of a sudden, wtf? Another one?! They ended it in 3! Where the hell did this one come up? Who took his place?
I will be going to see it when it comes out though. My fiance is gonna make me anyways, so, meh.
