I've actually met Leonai's adorable little girl and I'm laughing... so, wait... wtf is wrong with me??
Anyway as for the story; I wouldn't let it bother you too much Leo, the mother here is obviously either a complete moron of the highest degree... or she did it on purpose because she didn't want her kid anymore.

Also... the lady drives a Honda Civic with tinted windows... you know something is up there! Man I should be a detective!

I read this last night, went to work this morning, then quickly checked the back of my car thinking of this article, then realized I never bring my Daughter to work...

I can't stand to hear stories like this, because I'm always thinking about how the child felt, what he/she was thinking about being left alone, how it felt to die... gah, now I'm giving myself goosebumps. And I feel horrible.

I need to go hug my son.

Because I live in AZ and hear these stories on an extremely regular basis. I see the women on the news, and most, if not all of them, are indeed what I would call white trash.

Sure, she could easily bring in 1k a week, but that 1k a week is more than likely going to her dealer for her meth habit or whatever other addiction she has.

True enough. I mean, just look at Britney Spears. She's definitely not poor, but most certainly white trash.

I do the same thing. There was a recent story where a police officer was suspended for doing the same thing with his dog - left the dog in the vehicle for his 8 hour shift, came out and he was dead.

I get squeamish inside imagining the panic that had to have gone on for anyone in that sort of situation and it's even worse with a little kid because they're stuck, strapped into their carseat with buttons that are difficult for adults to open let alone the kids, unable to get to the windows to bang or anything.

What I really seriously don't understand is how people didn't hear the kid. He must have been crying and screaming. A civic isn't really all that well insulated! Did anyone at least inquire about the screaming kid in a car in the parking lot? *shakes head*

This will certainly make me be even MORE vigilant about making sure my baby is safe and sound - that's for sure.

It's obvious by now that you must speak in legalese here if you don't want something to be turned against you in a perverted twisted manor. People here speak in absolutes, and leaving details to general inference is a surefire way to get some dumb **** to respond accordingly.
