Why drinking midweek is badFollow

Before you say, who are you... I'm a long time lurker who's become a big fan of OOT. Nice to meet you!

On to the topic. Drinking midweek is bad because, well, it's Thursday. I have to sit here in front of a computer and test an insurance rating system. And deal with people who have no idea how it's supposed to work. This job is full of bore sober. Hungover, it's going to be a snore-fest. Not to mention the thing in my stomach trying to rip it's way out. Stupid alcohol and it's tempting ways.

Same happens to me every once and awhile. During a weeknight I'll have a beer or two and sometimes 7 or 8. Sneaks up on you and next thing I know I am hammered on a Wednesday Smiley: frown

Why drinking midweek is good:

Because ale is tasty.

Drinking midweek is good because sobriety shines too bright a light on all the shame.

I've actually done shots at work before. Which made dealing with the usual customers that much more interesting.

I rarely drink anymore though; it seems like after 3 beers I'm guaranteed a hangover. Considering it takes much more than that to get me drunk, it's either I don't drink or deal with the dire consequences.

DRINK MOAR WATEH!

Most Hangover symptoms are caused by or exacerbated by dehydration. drink lots of water in between your alcoholic drinks, or at a minimaum, chug a heap of water before you go to bed. drink as much water as you can get down the morning after.

The sad thing is, the more you drink, the less likely you are to get a hangover.

Hangovers are supposed to be natures warning, unless you want liver disease, I guess.

I support stem cell research so you drunks can grow a new liver every week.

I agree, it's definately good for the hangover, but drinking it in between beers would likely leave me overhydrated.
And having a big glass of water at the end is usually what makes me puke. (it's either I puke that night and have a headache in the morning, or I puke in the morning and am left chilled and gross feeling all day.)

I wish pot was legal. It doesn't hurt my tummy at all, and don't leave the house when I'm f*cked up anyways...
Edit:

Me too, but also because it would make my stock prices skyrocket. Smiley: sly
