Real balls.

Quote:
Yes, they actually did it. Last spring, Denver's Wynkoop Brewing Co. sent out a press release and debuted a video announcing a new beer, brewed with “Rocky Mountain oysters,” aka bull ********** which — when seasoned and fried — are one of Colorado’s most popular snacks. The April 1 date of the announcement was a giveaway, however; the whole thing was an April Fools joke.

Outrageousness nothwithstanding, the response from brewers, beer writers and craft beer drinkers was generally positive — many thought the joke was real, and expressed interest in trying the ballsy brew. So, head brewer Andy Brown and team decided to go for it.

The eight barrel batch of Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout that will debut just in time for the Great American Beer Festival was made with 25 pounds of hand-sliced and roasted bull ********** along with locally-grown malts, roasted barley, sea salt and Stryian Goldings hops. It carries an ABV of 7%, and is 3 BPB (that would be “balls per barrel”). Look for the brew at Wynkoop’s GABF table if you're headed out for the event. Do you have the balls to try it?

I'm all for experimental beers but part of me thinks this is just to @#%^ with the people who are going to review it.

Have there been beers in the past that incorporated meat?

Finally a drink for people who like the connotation of consuming bull ********** but don't want to imbibe any measurable amount of of the delicacy.

This could catch on. What about Apple iCider? A pungent brew that has 2 iPhone 5s dipped into each batch.

Just do a quick search on BeerAdvocate for bacon, there's a bunch of them although I don't know how many of those actually use bacon and how many just imitate the flavor. It's probably hard to tell from tasting as well since the Germans managed to figure out a way to make beer taste like meat while adhering to the reinheitgebot (rauchbiers)

Nah, most likely it would be a batch of water that Steve Job's last pair of socks have been soaking in since he died, with just a hint of Macintosh Apples for flavor.

I figured someone had done something with bacon. I'm not sure I'd want a bacon flavoured beer though.

Rauchbier is awesome, tastes more like smoked ham than bacon though. I haven't had any beer with actual bacon in it, I'd love to try some though (aside from Rogue's Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon Ale that is, most people seem to hate that one).
